My first impression of college.

My first session in Police Technology had just started, and I was really enthusiastic because it was the job I had dreamed of since I was a kid. We were talking about eight courses to start with, with a varied mix: French, philosophy, physical conditioning, analysis of the police profession, criminology, communication techniques, police observation, and finally, law. Honestly, it was quite a mix, but I already liked it. French and philosophy were so as not to be lost in serious discussions. Physical conditioning was about being at your best physically, obviously. The analysis of the police profession was where it became real, and criminology was the dark and mysterious side. The communication technique was to avoid misunderstandings, police observation was a bit like playing hide-and-seek as an adult, and the law was what made it all legal. In short, it was going to be intense, but I was ready to give everything to realize my dream of becoming a police officer.

When I started my first semester at college at 17, I had to make a difference between school and my passion for bodybuilding. At first, I trained three days a week, but that changed to five days a week with the start of college. I realized that I needed to focus more on school, so I reduced my work hours to have more time for my studies. Although weight training remained important to me, I realized that I needed to cut back a bit to do better in school. During this time, homework, school projects, and the need to better manage my sleep were important. Every day, I had to balance my passion for bodybuilding with the new demands of my studies. Looking back, my first semester at college was a time when I had to adjust my priorities to succeed in school while continuing to pursue my passion for bodybuilding. It was a necessary change to get through this stage of my life well.

For me, entering the National Police Academy of Quebec (ENPQ) is super important. It represents the beginning of my dream of becoming a police officer. This school has a great reputation and offers super comprehensive training to prepare you well for this demanding profession. The idea of becoming a police officer is because I want an active life. Being on the ground helping people inspires me. I don't want to be stuck in an office, I want to be directly in contact with the community. Being a police officer is not just a job, it is an opportunity to have a job that I am passionate about, where every day brings new challenges and where I can really contribute to public safety. What I want is to be fulfilled in my job, to have varied experiences on a daily basis. Being a police officer is not just a job, it's about being active in society, solving problems and being part of change. I look forward to exploring new situations every day, serving the community, and helping make our environment safer. The ENPQ is the key to realizing these dreams and building a meaningful career in justice and security.

I really want to join the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Emergency Response Team which stems from an intense passion for community safety. Beyond being a simple task force, the GTI embodies a tangible commitment to maintaining order in complex contexts. Since its existence in 1977, the GTI has continued to evolve to face ever greater challenges.

My final goal in life.

My big dream is to have a job in the police and live a calm life. I want a big house, a nice wife, and kids who bring happiness to this tough world. If everything goes well, I even dream of living in a European country. But what's most important to me is helping my community, whether as a cop or just a regular neighbor. The idea of working in the police and having a comfy home that fit me well. I always thought it would be great to have a stable life. A big house means a strong and happy place for me. I also want to do my part, either by being a police officer or doing simple things as a good neighbor. My main goal is to do good for those around me. Even in small actions, the important thing is making a positive impact on people's lives. What keeps me going is the idea of making a difference, even if it's just a little one.
