It was the beginning of a new semester, it was always sunny and hot outside. I had a lot of thoughts about how the next 3 months were gonna be. A lot of important choices to decide.
Choice 1 : Going out on week nights.

My friends asked me to go out with them downtown to drink and eat on week day which I don't normally do, but the weather was amazing, and I'm easily influenced, I decided why not have fun and go. We drank a lot and then decided to end the night at the casino. We were all very excited, since we all made money and paid off the night plus we had extra money. After that, we called it a night and al head back home. I arrive at 3 a.m. and set my alarm for 6 a.m. because I had a class at 8 in the morning. My alarm clock did not wake me, and I wake up at 11, so I completely missed my class. We had an important meeting, and now I might get expelled from my program because of that.

I start the semester very well, and I take some advance by starting project way before they are due, so I'll have less stress and way more time do to other homework and time for myself. My grades will be way better as I'll have more time to study other exams that I have more difficulty. By having good grades, I have higher chances to become a police officer.
Choice 1 : Graduating and getting my degree at Ahuntisc in Police Technology.
Choice 2 : Practice law.
After my 3 years of college, I decide between going to the National Police School of Quebec for fifteen weeks and then being able to practice my profession or I can continue my journey and go to university for about 3 years in a related field of study.

I'll have to go through 15 weeks of hard training and show a lot of discipline. I'll have to pass a lot of tests and exams in order to get my degree. After that, I will choose the police department that I want to work for, since there is a lot of short-staffed in this field.

Choice 2 : Sûreté du Québec.
Now that I have acquired a DEC in Police Technology, I can choose to go further in my education and go to a university in a related field of study such as Criminoly or Victimology.

Now I have to choose if I apply for the Montreal Police service where there is a lot of action every day, or I apply for the Sûreté du Québec where I am going to patrol in a distant region where my days will most likely be more relaxed.

I made the selection interview to become a police officer for the SPVM, I get the job and did the one-job training. Soon after that, I received my uniform and my bulletproof vests. My partner is really great, and we have a lot of fun together. I begin to think about my career about if I want to continue patrol or switch to become a crime investigator or even for more action, a member of the Emergency Response Team.

I do the interview, and I pass all the tests which are a psychometric testing, medical and reputation enquiry. Now that I'm a fresh police officer, I get a call from 4 man harassing people with knives. I arrived at the scene with my partner, and we see the group of men. We talked to the offenders and order them do drop their weapons. They seem to be under influence of drugs. We tell them multiple times to drop their weapons and put their hands up but one of the decides to charge me with the knife. My partner uses his teaser, but it does not work on the guy. Now, I'm really stressing, and I have no choice but to use my weapon. I shoot the guy, and he dropped on the floor. The others now obey our orders as I try to reanimation procedures on the man that I shot. An ambulance arrives shortly after, but unfortunately, the man bleed out.

Now that I trained really hard to become a member of The Emergency Response Team, I get to see a lot of action. My team and I are the one who participates in the most dangerous missions. We knock doors down and arrested big criminals in the middle of the night. We are also that are called when there are heists with hostages. One time, we were participating in a large police operation to dismantle a drug operation, so we knock a door down and proceeded like we usually do. There was a guy who slept with a shotgun, he woke up and shoot me in the leg. That was the mission than end my life.

Being a major crimes investigator offers me a lot of money and a lot of work because I can get called on my days off, in the middle of the night, basically anytime in the day, and I have to be present. I can now buy a house in Montreal and be close when I have to get to work fast. Since there are a lot of crimes and murder in the city, I have to work multiple cases at the same time.

Working for the Sûreté du Québec gives me the possibility to move where they sent me and paid for my expenses. That's why I decided to work overtime in the north and buy a small house with my wife where we will be able to start a family.

I decided to apply for International mission where the department helps other police services with training and equipment in third world countries. I was sent In Haïti for 2 months. I met some really great people and felt like I made a real impact for the people there. One night while I was sleeping a group of terrorists kidnapped me and tortured me for 6 days. They wanted money and information about something I had no idea about. I eventually died and a big ceremony to honor me were made back in my country. My wife inherited my pension and move in Mexico.
