It has been five years that I'm a police officer for the SPVM. Since the beginning of my hiring, I work in PDQ 30 (Saint-Michel) as a patrol police officer. I really like the job, and I really like how I can make a real contact with my community. Also, I received a diploma for my great work on a big operation in our area, so it proved that I had my place in this field, and that I made the right choice to come to the SPVM. I can't wait to work more as a patrol police officer, and I'm ready for new challenges!

It has been six months that I'm a police officer for the SQ. I work in Mascouche and I really like the place and the people that I work with. Even if I'm still learning the ropes, I think I for sure found my field and I can't wait to learn more of the police works. Perhaps, I learned that because I'm new in the team, someone with more seniority than me could come and take my place, which would send me to another place, somewhere in Quebec. Should I take the chance that nobody takes my place or should I move to another police service?
Choice 1 : Stay and pray.
