My career as a physical rehabilitation therapist

The beginning of college.

It was the beginning of college, and I was thinking about a program change. At first, I did not want to because my parents would have thought that I am an indecisive person, but I had to make an important choice for my future self.

Choice 1 : Doing what i can to get accepted in my desire program.

Choice 2 : Going out with my friends.

diploma

Doing what I can to get accepted in my desire program.

My first semester of college was really difficult. It was really difficult for me to attend my classes, do my homework on time, stay attentive, etc. It's also when I first started having anxiety, and I was going thorough a phase of depression. The condition were not reunited in order for me to succeed. It took me months before realizing that I did not like the program that I was into and that I wanted to make a program change. When I knew that I truly wanted to make a program change, I encountered other issues because I did not have the necessary requirements to get in. I was really stressing about it, but I knew that I needed to act in order for me to do what I like, so I went in the summer classes to get the necessary requirements, and after I applied to my dream program. I put a lot of work in accomplishing that, a lot of homework, a lot of crying and questioning, but now I am so happy that I got accepted.

school

Going out with my friends.

While trying to strictly focus on school and get accepted in my dream program. My friends would call me a lot so that we could go out and spend some good time together. Within the first week it was really easy to resist to them and going out, until one day I told myself that going out only once a week with them won't keep me from reaching my goal. I started going out with them really often, and I really enjoyed it. School was really important to me, but so were my friends. Some day, I would even skip study sessions to go out with them.
