Mt Future Career as a Teacher.

The beginning of college.

It was the beginning of college soon, and I had to choose my school. Ahuntsic has a nice Education program and a good soccer team, but Rosemont has a nice sport related program. I would like to become a sport teacher or a primary teacher.

Choice 1 : Go to Ahuntsic College.

Choice 2 : Go to Rosemont College.

Go to Ahuntsic College.

I started my Education courses at Ahuntsic College. I thought that the classes were OK, but I started to get bored after only few weeks. I was thinking about playing on the soccer team to continue my dream to be a professional player. It's a hard choice because I want to pull off straight a's in my classes, and playing a sport in college is a big thing. I'm not the best with time management either, but I need to choose fast.

Choice 1 : Do the soccer team.

Choice 2 : Only do Education program.

Go to Rosemont College.

I applied at Rosemont College, but I still don't know in which program I want to go. There is this sport related program where I think I would love to be in, and will give me access to the ins-and-outs and an OJT of having a career related to the sport. There is also this Education program where I'm not sure if I like it, I think it could be a bit boring. The thing is that my dad doesn't want me to go in the sport program because he thinks that all the sport career are useless and are not worth the time that I will be spending in school.

Choice 1 : Do the sport related program.

Do the soccer team.

I'm now on the soccer team, and I love it. The morning, I have practices at 7 before my classes, and I think it wakes me up great and make me feel like I'm actually doing something with my life. My program is now more interesting for me because I'm already at school, and I need to have good grades to stay on the soccer team. Unfortunately, I just got injured before our championship where I was supposed to miss classes. I need to choose if I'm going to the championship and try to follow my classes even far or do I stay in class because I won't even be able to play because of my injury.

Choice 1 : Go to the championship.

Choice 2 : Stay at school.

Only do Education program.

It's pretty hard to focus for me when I don't like that much what I'm doing. I want to continue my program but do something else beside, so I won't get bored. I thought about getting a job or get volunteered in an organization. I could see the advantages and the disadvantages of working while studying. If I do this, I would do my program in 3 years instead of 2, to have fewer classes. I could also just try to focus and keep my program like That.

Choice 1 : Work while studying and do my program in 3 years.

Choice 2 : Focus on my program.

Do the sport related program.

Every class was a new sport, and we were learning about the sport. It was a really fun way to study while moving, and I loved it! One day, it was climbing.I love Climbing, and we had a big wall outside. For those who already had done some climbing in our life we were authorized to be in a pair of twos without a teacher. I started to get pretty high, and my friend was not looking talking to someone, and wasn't looking. I fell, I screamed, and when he realized I was falling he tried his best to hold the rope, but it was too late... My head had already touched the ground. I have a concussion, and the doctor said that I have been needed to stay home for 2 months. That means I will fail my classes.

Choice 1 : Go back to the beginning.

Do the Education program.

There were two types of program at Rosemont. The first one was with a sport class and the second one was with an internship in a primary school. I didn't know what to do, and which one I will prefer.

Go to the championship.

I went to the championship, and when I came back I was really late in my homework, and had a lot of exams to take. I ended up failing in all of my classes. Go back to the beginning.

Stay at school.

I'm staying in school and focus on my classes even thought my dream was to go at this championship. Even if I'm sad that I wasn't with my team, I passed all of my classes and got my degree!

Work while studying and do my program in 3 years.

This was a great idea. By putting my program in 3 years, I didn't get bored with it, and was able to think about something other than school.

It was really fun, but a bit too much, I ended up focusing only on my sport class, and didn't do the rest of my homework. Go back to the beginning.

Do the Education program with the internship.

The internship was supper nice, and made me learn a lot of new things that in class we don't see or lean. Being with kids is way more rewarding and fun. I continue in this field and the school even proposed me a job! Now, I need to choose between finishing my program or taking the job.

Choice 1 : Continue my program to finish it.

Choice 2 : Take the job directly and quit school.

Continue my program to finish it.

I didn't take the job to continue my program, and it was a great idea. I just wanted to get my degree and then go to university to have a teacher degree and have a better salary later.

Take the job directly and quit school.

I took the job! Even if I put aside my degree, this was my purpose since the beginning. I will see the disadvantages later, but for now I love the kids, the people I'm working with and the school. I don't know if it's corruption because I'm not supposed to work without a degree, but I don't really care.
