In high school I had two choices, pursuing my studies in Paralegal Technology or dropping out of school and going directly on the job market.
Choice 1 : Finishing high school and going to CEGEP.
Choice 2 : Dropping out of high school.
Here it's a semi dead-end. I would pursue my job as a barista. My career perspective would be pretty close, and I would not have a lot of choice in the type of work I could do.
Choice 1 : Stay a barista
Choice 2 : Become a manager.
Staying a barista would be difficult because it's not a good paying job, and it's really exhausting working there 40 hours a week. Also, mentally it is not a stimulating job because you are always repeating the same motions.

Becoming a manager is hard because there is a lot of office politics in that company, and a lot of information is hinder from you. But despite that it you give me a better salary and a less physically exhausting job. On top of that your bosses don't really understand the work you are doing and the people under you are hating you for not understanding them. And that is not great.

Going to CEGEP would open a lot more doors especially in Paralegal Technology. I would learn a job that opens me a new field of work, and gives me a better pay.
Choice 1 : Pursuing my studies in laws' school.
Choice 2 : Stopping a becoming a full time paralegal.
Becoming a full time paralegal would save me 5 years of university, I could start building my career right away. On top, I would earn premium-wage very quickly.
Choice 1 : Working for the Government.
Choice 2 : Working for a private law firm.
Choice 3 : Working for a bank.
Working for the government does have some advantages slower pace, good career possibilities, job security, and especially a good pension fund for a good retirement. But the pay isn't great.
Choice 1 :
A private law firm could be a good choice to. The salary is definitely better than the government, they also offer benefits like free lunches, free gym pass and decent retirement plan. Also, the pace is faster than the government but there are more challenges than the government.

Law's school is really my goal and where I would like to go. It would open a new career and possibilities, I could be a lawyer, a notary or a law consultant. It would also open me more economic opportunities by making more money than a paralegal.
Choice 1 : Going to Ottawa University.
Choice 2 : Going to Montreal University.
Ottawa is a good university, and it would be nice to try living in an apartment by myself. It would also give me the opportunity of living in a new city and meeting new people.
Choice 1 : Becoming a lawyer.
Choice 2 : Becoming a notary.
Montreal University is my wish, but you need really good grades to go in law school there. The reputation it gives to have a diploma there is really good. I would also allow me to stay in Montreal with my family and put money aside.
Choice 1 : Becoming a lawyer.
Choice 2 : Becoming a notary.
Working for a bank is another place I could work. It's a good work environment because it gives a good balance between a law firm and the government. It also opens the doors for other fields of work than the legal field.
Choice 1 :
Failing law school I would have to go back to being a paralegal. That would be my only career path logically possible.
Choice 1 : Stopping a becoming a full time paralegal.
Becoming a lawyer would allow me to have more opportunities in that field. Like merger and acquisition, patents, family law, etc.
Choice 1 : Going in politics.
Choice 2 : Becoming a senior partner.
Choice 3 : Quitting everything and starting a new career.
Being a notary would give me some job security because people want to buy houses and make wills, and you need a notary for that. The draw back is that I wouldn’t be able to become a senior partner at a big law firm.
Choice 1 : Going in politics.
Choice 2 : Quitting everything and starting a new career.
On of my dream would be one day go in politics and be a politician. I want to try changing things a be part of our community.
Choice 1 : Quitting everything and starting a new career.
Choice 2 : Trying for a second mandate.
Choice 3 : Going back to being a lawyer or notary.
If I pursue my career at the same law firm, I could, one day, become a senior partner. That would give me better recognition and mainly a way better pay.
Choice 1 : Quitting everything and starting a new career.
Maybe one day I could explore the possibility of quitting everything and starting a new career as something else that I don't know yet.
