It all started like this.

It all began when I was in my last year of high school. I needed to choose where would I send an application for college in a couple of weeks and I couldn't choose between a technique in Nursing or in Prehospital Emergency Care.

Choice 1 : I go study at Ahuntsic College in the Prehospital Emergency Care program.

Choice 2 : I go study at Saint-Laurent College in the Nursing program.

Choice 3 : I go study at Saint-Laurent College in Social Sciences because I don't know what I want to do.

After three beautiful years in this program, I now graduate as a paramedic.

Choice 1 : I found a job on the island of Montreal as a paramedic.

Choice 2 : The request to work as a paramedic in Montreal is not very good. No jobs are available.

I go study at Saint-Laurent College in the Nursing program.

After three beautiful years in this program, I now graduate as a Nurse Technician.

Working as a paramedic is hard, but gives me a daily dose of adrenaline and it's so satisfying.

The job of a nurse is very demanding and stressful, but the feeling of helping people every day is very comforting and satisfying. I plan on doing my job as long as I can.

I do not have a degree, and my work as a part-time student is not paying enough for me to make a career with the little schooling I received.

I do not have a job, so I do not have the resources to support myself. Without money, I can not find a place to live and I can not build a family. I live a miserable life.

My life is now starting, and I can build a home of my own. I can also dream about the future family that I will have and I do not stress a bit by the unexpected adventures that life will bring to me. I can't wait to see what my future will be.

I am leaving for a few months on a humanitarian mission to Africa to provide care to those who miss it. My work is more than satisfying and I realize one of my biggest dreams.
