Congratulations! After 3 years of hard work, perseverance, commitment and a successful internship, you finally graduated in Police Technology from Ahuntsic College. Now, in order to get a foot in the door in your law enforcement career, you will have to choose the law enforcement agency that you want to work for. You chose to stay on patrol duty. There are two Districts that really interests you. The first one is District 39, it covers the area of Montreal-North, one of the most crime-ridden and dangerous neighbourhoods in Montreal. The second one is District 1, which covers the western end of Montreal (Kirkland, St-Anne-de-Bellevue etc.) It is the District with the lowest crime rate and one of the safest on the whole island of Montreal.

After going through grueling tests and training, you finally made it to the SWAT team. One day, you receive a call. There is a mass shooting in a building in Downtown Montreal. You and your colleagues hop into the truck. You get in the building and evacuate the civilians. You learn that the mass shooter is hiding in an office at the top of the building. You're just outside of the office. The mass shooter is on the other side side of the wall.

Since the crime rate is really low in District 1, there is not really a lot of things to do. Sometimes, it can can very boring. The worst calls that you've received was about someone who lost his puppy. The whole District 1 was mobilized to search the puppy and after a couple hours, you found it. 25 years forward, you are now retiring after having a very chill career.

You are now patrolling the district 39. Since the crime rate is really high, you are really busy, and you always have to work overtime. One day that you're about to finish a very long overtime shift, you notice a suspicious man entering into a home.

Without thinking twice, you bravely get into the office. You successfully shoot him in the head and, he dies immediately. Suddenly, you feel a huge pain in your back. It turns out that the mass shooter had another partner and, he just shot you in the back. You can't walk, you have a hard time breathing and, you fall on the ground. You die as a hero. The mayor of Montreal organizes a city-wide funeral in your honor.

You wait for another SWAT team to join you. It turns that the mass shooter isn't alone, and he has a partner. Your team and the other get in the office, and successfully takes out the two shooters.After this mission, you stay on the SWAT team for 15 years. As you're getting older, you are thinking of changing of units.

You spend the last years of your career as a Traffic Officer in downtown Montreal. The job is really chill, and sometimes you get insulted by uneducated commuters, but you don't care, it's way less stressful than when you were in the SWAT unit.

You are now spending the last years of your career as a firearm instructor. You are teaching to the future generation of police officers how to safely and effectively use a weapon. You have at least a dozen trainees per day. Your experience as a SWAT member comes in handy.

When you go near elementary schools, all the children are running toward you to gently pet your dog. One day, you receive a call that a wanted convict escaped from a prison and is now hiding in the woods. He has a knife. It turns out that you're taking your lunch next to the woods where he's hiding.

As a community officer, your role is to be to build close and lasting relationships with the members of the community. Today, your sergeant gives you the choice between going to a retirement home to reach out with the elders or to go to a high school to reach out with the youth.

You meet the elderly, and play bingo with them. One of the elders seems really familiar. After your shift, you meet her. You realize that she is your aunt that you haven't seen a long time ago. You spend hours discussing with her. She tells you how proud she is to have a nephew that became a Police Officer.

You choose to do some community policing in St-Maxime high school. You give an oral presentation about becoming a police officer and show them how great this career is. When you're about to get in your car, a student yells at you and says '' Go kill yourself you f*****g pig, it will make the world a better place!''. His comment really offends you.

You can't control your anger anymore. You pull out your night stick and beat the teenager for a good minute. You then go back to your car. Unfortunately, a citizen was filming you. The video spreads on the Internet and it gets over a million views. The teenager sues your department, he wins, and he gets a compensation of 100K$. You are officially terminated by your department. You can't become a police officer anymore anywhere. You will have to find a new career.

Even if his comment offends you, you're telling yourself that he's still young, and he's not insulting you personally but your uniform. Years later, that kid became a police officer. He tells you that he was impressed by how patient you were and that you inspired him.

Even though you really want to go home, and feel very overwhelmed by your job, you choose to investigate the men. You put on some civilian clothes and spy on him. Later, you see him inside grabbing a suitcase and a gun. You call your colleagues. They burst into the house and arrest the man. It turns out that he was a wanted felon from Toronto that had a nationwide warrant on his head. You also discover in his basement a million dollar in cash, weapon, and drugs. It is the one of the biggest seizures of the year. The police chief rewards and promotes you to the rank of sergeant.

You already had a big day, and you don't feel like doing more overtime. Later in the day, you see in the news that the suspicious guy just murdered his wife. If you weren't lazy, the lady would still be alive today. You feel miserable, you have failed as a police officer.

You run in the woods for 10 long minutes. Your dog finally spots the felon, he jumps on him and try to disarm him. You yell to the criminal to drop his weapon. Suddenly, he stabs Robin and run towards you. You shoot him just in extremis. Both your dog and the felon are now dead. You are broken and you silently grieve. The mayor of the city of Laval honored the K9 dog Robin by building a statue in his honor and he gave you the medal of courage for your bravery.

You decide to wait for the helicopter. Unfortunately, by the time that the helicopter came. The felon had time to escape. A Canada-wide warrant has been issued against him.
