Where it all started.

After two years of hard work, I finally finished my DEC in Natural Sciences at CEGEP of Saint-Hyacinthe. I got straight A's in most of my classes which gave me the opportunity to choose which University I want to attend in finance. I applied to University of Sherbrooke and University of Montreal, which one should I go to?

Choice 1 : Go to the University of Sherbrooke.

Choice 2 : Go to the University of Montreal.

Since I arrived at Sherbrooke campus, I enjoy student life very much. Despite going to a lot of parties, I managed to pull off very good grades in my administration classes. Since I am in a cooperative program, I will soon have to choose my internship in a business.

Choice 1 : Take the internship in Quebec.

Choice 2 : Take the internship in the U.S.A.

Go to the University of Montreal.

Since I started at HEC, which is the business school at University of Montreal, I have difficulty with time management. Time transportation takes a huge part of my time since I live at my parents' house on the South shore. For this reason, I am behind in my classes and homework. I am now afraid to fail. Because I would like to travel before graduating, I am considering the idea of traveling to a foreign country and dropping out.

Choice 1 : Travel to Thailand.

Choice 2 : Stay in school.

Take the internship in Quebec.

I landed an internship in a financial firm in Montreal. Since I only am an intern, I always try to come in handy for my boss and colleagues. I learned the ropes quickly, and I am happy to have a foot in the door for future opportunities such as The National Bank of Canada who offered me a full time job at the end of my internship.

Choice 1 : Accept the job at National Bank of Canada.

Choice 2 : Start my own business.

Take the internship in the U.S.A.

My internship in Manhattan, New York has been rough so far. I feel overwhelmed by the culture, and the language barrier. I had a hard time learning the ropes since my boss is very demanding. Working for a bank with huge cash flows is difficult. Since I did not make a name for myself in Quebec, I have no other choice but keep my job at the Bank of America.

Choice 1 : Work for the Bank of America.

Travel to Thailand.

I dropped out of school to volunteer abroad in an elephants' reserve in Thailand. At first, I was a bit skeptical about this experience. Now that I fully committed, all I can see is advantages. First, it helped me clear my mind and find a purpose to my life. After two months in the wild, I have decided that I want to make a lot of money, but I am not sure how to do so.

Choice 1 : Take an online course.

Choice 2 : Go to the University of Sherbrooke.

Stay in school.

Despite my terrible first semester, I have made changes in my way to study. I now use the transportation time to study. Because of my poor grades, I only reached an entry level job. I was offered to pursue a Master's degree because of my determination. I am now wondering if I should enroll in the program.

Choice 1 : Take an entry level job.

Choice 2 : Pursue a master's degree.

Accept the job at National Bank of Canada.

Now that I am finished with school, I am working at my dream job. I manage portfolios at National Bank of Canada for many clients. I am constantly looking for investing opportunities in the stock market in order to increase the dividends. I also manage budgets and insurances for my clients. As I was looking to diversify my clients' portfolio, I saw an opportunity to invest in a real estate complex.

Choice 1 : Buy real estate.

Choice 2 : Don't buy real estate.

Start my own business.

Regardless of all the opportunities available, I chose to pursue my dream of starting my own business of rubber ducks. My start up grew quicker than I thought. Indeed, I brought the idea on the set of Shark Tank where Mark Cuban offered life changing money. I am now hesitating between selling or keeping my little baby.

Choice 1 : Sell the business.

Choice 2 : Keep the business.

Work for the Bank of America.

Working overtime and feeling worthless in the organization, has led me to decide whether I should stay or start my own business. I feel alienate by my peers since I come from another country and different culture. I experience a lack of motivation going to work because I feel I am not part of the business accomplishment.

Choice 1 : Stay at the Bank of America.

Choice 2 : Start my own business.

Take an online course.

I heard about a guru on the internet who offers online courses on how to begin your own start up. His classes are adapted to the type of enterprise you are trying to develop. It motivates me to achieve my dream about becoming an entrepreneur.

Take an entry level job.

I barely obtained my Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance which gave me few opportunities. That is why I landed an entry position job in a small enterprise. More often than not, I do boring paperwork for my superiors. Feeling unfulfilled, I am looking to start my own company.

Pursue a master's degree.

After my degree, I am pursing a master in business administration (MBA). So far, I enjoy it a lot because we learn new subjects every day such as, accounting, marketing, e-commerce, economics and international trading. The principal of the faculty offered me to teach as a professor when I am done with my MBA. On the other hand, I could accept the job at the National Bank of Canada.

Choice 1 : Become a teacher at University of Montreal.

Choice 2 : Accept the job at National Bank of Canada.

Stay at the Bank of America.

After six months in New York, I have been invited to the corporation parties and various events, so I decided to stay at the Bank of America.

Choice 1 : Basic retirement.

Buy real estate.

This investment appeared to be very lucrative. The return on investment was beyond my expectations. Those assets provided me passive income, and I am looking forward to reach financial freedom before 45 years old.

Don't buy real estate.

Not buying that condominium complex is probably the biggest mistake of my life to this day. I have to work harder and put overtime in order to provide for my family. The partners who I could have invested with are doing just great.

Sell the business.

I left Shark Tank film set with a big check worth seven million dollars. My reserves could not be better and my mortgage is now paid of.

Keep the business.

Directly after the shooting of Shark Tank, the demand for rubber ducks went down drastically. I had no other choice than closing down and sign in for bankruptcy. I have never felt so ashamed in my life.

Become a teacher at University of Montreal.

Life as a teacher is the greatest thing I have ever experienced in my professional life. I learn a lot from my students and my work allows me to fully enjoy each day. I am specialized in teaching taxation where students learn the basics of equity and loans.

Choice 1 : Basic retirement.

Financial Freedom.

At age of 45, I am now living my best life. My net worth surpasses the eight figures which allows me to live without regrets or guilt. I plan to travel the world for the next few years. However, I did not lose my drive of work which will eventually lead me to start a new business project.

Basic retirement.

The mortgage is totally paid by my pension. I set aside money all along my career for my retirement. Being done with drudgery, I plan to do a lot of fishing and reading.

Since I went all in my business and had to call for bankruptcy, I now have no other choice than work at Dollarama. This is a really painful ending to a life full of ambition and projects.
