I have been studying Social Science at Saint-Hyacinthe for two years. It is my final term, and I wish I could take a sabbatical year to work a lot and travel or go to the University of Quebec or Montreal. I don't know what to do at the moment.

I started working 40 hours and more per week to save as much money as possible. Since I was young, I set aside money for my future. My main job was in youth centers. It was a really hard job because it is not always easy to work with young people who have a lot of problems, and communication is not easy for them. I had a trainee for this job because it was a particular type of profession that needed a trainee. But I always wanted to help people in need because it makes me feel good and I can have special connections with them. I love to be under pressure at work because I can work better and the drive of work has a lot of benefices. My other job is at a restaurant called Gepetto and I really like it there because I am having a lot of fun with my co-workers and the clients.

Start university.

I decided that I would start university right after Cegep. I always knew that I wanted to be a psycho educator, but the R score is higher than what I expected. In Cegep, my time management was terrible because I wasn't organized and I never had straight'A's in my exam, so it was a big problem for me to enter the program knowing that my grades were not enough. That was a maddening habit for me to do and it didn't help my situation. To help me increase my results, I could do a certificate or continue to take classes at the Cegep.

Travel.

With the money I have made from my two jobs, I will start to travel a lot. I want to take the time while traveling to find myself and find what I love and discover new things, different cultures and meet new people. I hesitate between Spain and Egypt because these are two countries that I want to visit in my life and I have the opportunity to do it during my sabbatical. Traveling makes me happy and in control.

Take time to relax.

I want to take the time to relax and take care of myself. That's one of my purposes to take a sabbatical. I never took time for myself and I think it's very important to do it. Enjoying every moment of life, taking the time to be with my friends and with my family. I want to do road trips to discover new mountains that I can climb.

Do a certificate.

A certificate is a credited program totaling 30 credits. It can serve as additional training for a university or as refresher training for me because psycho education requires additional skills and higher grades. It usually takes place over a full-time period of one year. It must be a program related to psycho education, like psychology or "toxicomanie" (substance abuse).

Take other classes.

To get a better R score, I could take other classes at Cegep. Biology can be very helpful because I can understand the functioning of the body and it is interesting to know the body language with the job that I want to do.

Spain.

I've always dreamed to go to Spain for the beautiful weather all year, for its exotic setting and for its low prices because I am a student and I don't have a lot of money. My friend went and he told me that he loved it and he could return at any moment. He showed me a lot of pictures and videos of places that he went and I am definitively in love with this country. There are also many festivals and many bars that I want to go because it is a different vibe there and learning Spanish is not that difficult. The resemblance with French is not that big, so it's easier to learn it.

Egypt.

This is a country that I love from the bottom of my heart because my father was born there with his family. That's maybe my chance to see where he lived. What I find interesting about this country is that the landscapes are so different from here, so I can discover the pyramids, different villages, a different culture, and the desert. Everything about this country makes me feel like I am at home and learn more and connect with the people there.

Psychology.

When I was young, I wanted to be a psychologist. This program was in my head for a long time because I have been in some situations where I have to be there for a person in particular and I helped her a lot with her problems. That gave me the motivation to search for that program and when I saw that I didn't have the grades for psycho education. When I saw that I could do a certificate in psychology to increase my results, I was very excited and I am pretty good in psychology, so it will help me.

Toxicomanie (substance abuse).

This class interests me a lot because I had a friend that struggles with substance abuse and I was there when he needed someone to help him. This class could really help me understand why people are struggling with this type of addiction and what can bring them to this solution because it is different for everybody. It could also help me with the field of study that I want to go in (psycho education) because helping others in need and learning more about this subject. We can never know what type of person we can meet and what type of problems they have, so it is important to know every type of addiction in case I have a case about this particular subject (toxicomanie).

Live there in Spain.

I loved being in Spain because the people there are very gentle, sweet and very kind. They have great values and I can speak with them like they are my family and that's what I love about them. I bought an apartment and it's not expensive at all, so it's very great for my situation as a student. I am living my best life.

After a long trip, I decided to return home because I needed to see my family and be with them.

Live there in Egypt.

Living in Egypt has been my dream since I was young. When I was on vacation in this country, I decided to stay there and be with the rest of my family. I have seen them for a long time, so I decided it will be better to live there. I met a beautiful man and I started a family there even though it's not the best country to do that. I am not working and I am just living my best life.

Start the program in university in psycho education.

I got finally accepted into my program. I love it very much. People that have specials-needs are very endearing and I feel blessed to be able to help them.

Intervention with people with adjustment difficulties.

Having other classes in my field of study that I want to go to might help me to understand better people who are having problems. Adjustment difficulties are a subject that is very interesting and that I can learn more about.

Have a family.

I have two kids with the man of my life and I am retired. I set aside money when I was young and I am receiving a pension during my retirement to help me with my expenses. I am living my best life in Spain.

I can now say that I have found my dream job. I am currently working in a center with children in need. I have a compensation package because I've done a lot of overtime.
