Finishing college.

This is it! I have finally finished my pre-university program in Health Science and I have to decide what I want to do for the next year. I applied to two universities in different programs. I have been accepted at the University of Montreal in Psychoanalysis. I have also received a letter from the University of Sherbrooke in which I have been accepted in Medicine. It would be easier for me to go to the University of Montreal because if I go there, I could stay at my parents house. On the other hand, I would like to go to the University of Sherbrooke since I have always dreamed to become a doctor. So, either I go to the University of Montreal in a program that was not my first choice, or I go to the University of Sherbrooke to become a doctor.

I go to the University of Montreal in the Psychoanalysis program.

I have decided to enter the Psychoanalysis program at the University of Montreal and stay close to my family. I find this science really interesting so I am quite excited to go in this field of study! I have been invited to my program's initiation which is supposed to be the night before my first day of school. I could go to the initiation party and get to know the other students in Psychoanalysis or I could stay home to get ready for school and avoid the risk of being hangover on my first day of class. What should I do?

The initiation party.

The party is great! I got to know most of the people in here and they are all very nice. The only thing is that I drank a bit too much alcohol so I am afraid of what I am going to look like tomorrow. Nevertheless I am still happy that I came to the initiation because I ran into Jim, a good friend of mine that I have not seen for a long time. We talked a lot and he told me that he was going on a trip to South America in two days. When I said that I have wanted to travel for a long time, he asked me if I wanted to go with him! What should I say?

Choice 1 : Say yes and quit school

Choice 2 : Refuse and go to school tomorrow

I Stayed home.

I have decided to decline the invitation to the initiation party. I stayed home, and I prepared my school material to make sure that I have everything I need. I am lucky I did that because it made me realize that I had not printed a homework I had to do for my first psychology class! I would have been so embarrassed to tell my new teacher that I did not have my homework! My first class went really well and now it is lunchtime. Some students in my program asked me to join them for dinner, but I just saw my friend who is in the Music program and she also asked me to eat with her. What should I do?

South America.

I decided to leave for South America with Jim and we have been traveling for six months now. We currently are in Argentina and we just love the country! Jim's parents gave him a lot of money recently and he would like to buy a farm with it so we could help the local people by hiring them to work on the farm. Jim wants me to stay with him but we were supposed to go to Europe soon and I would like to visit this continent. What should I do?

I stayed with Jim to help him start his farm business and I have been living here with Jim for a year now. The place is beautiful and we really are helping the local people! The farm is very productive and Jim has a promising future. Jim and I are in a relationship and he just asked me to marry him and live in Argentina. What should I say?

Life in Argentina.

I decided to marry Jim and stay with him at the farm in Argentina. We are really happy together. The farm became so big that we are now able to sell our products on the international market. We are one of the most important fair-trade industries.

Refuse the proposal.

I told Jim I was not ready to marry someone yet and he was really disappointed. After this, it did not go really well between us and we decided to stop seeing each other. Now, I have to go back to Canada and return to school to get a diploma. Even if I have to start everything over, I still think this adventure was worthwhile.

Traveling to Europe.

This continent is beautiful! I am currently in Italy and I really feel like I belong here. About a month ago, I met this girl who works as an HR employee for Prada and she liked the way I dress. She told me that there was a vacant position in the design department at Prada. She said she could help me get the job by hiring me as an intern in design so I could learn the ropes. It seems to be a great opportunity, but Prada is a big company and I know it can be hard to get promoted. I am afraid this internship could lead me to a dead-end job. What should I do?

Working for Prada.

I decided to take the internship. It was a little bit overwhelming at the beginning: I worked really hard as a trainee and I did a lot of overtime. After a year, I got promoted as a designer and my boss was really impressed by my work. He decided to give me the head designer job for the official Prada collection. It is a really demanding job that includes a lot of leg work, but I am very happy with it. Plus, I have a premium wage, so I do not have to worry about my future and my retirement.

Refuse the internship.

I did not take the internship offer. I have not found a job yet, and I am starting to run out of money. As much as I would like to stay in Italy, I will have to return to Canada and go back to school.

The day after the initiation party.

Last night, I refused to go to South America with Jim. I woke up hangover this morning, so I arrived a few minutes late for my first class. I could tell that my teacher was mad at me, and as I sat at my desk he asked me to give him my homework. It was really embarrassing because I had completely forgotten to print my homework and I had to tell this to my teacher in front of the whole class! Now that the class is over, I am not sure that I will be able to see him again. What should I do?

Choice 1 : Apologize to my teacher.

Choice 2 : Change my program.

Apologize to my teacher.

I went to apologize to my teacher, and I told him about the initiation party. He was really understanding and he appreciated that I went to see him. I have been in the psychoanalysis program for three years now, and I am very happy here. I am getting straight A's in all of my classes, and some of my teachers asked me if I wanted to pursue my studies in psychoanalysis. On the other hand, I could easily find a job right after I graduate so I could refund the money I borrowed for school. What should I do?

I decided to stay at school in order to obtain a Ph.D. in Psychoanalysis. I had to borrow a lot of money to finish my studies, but I am now one of the bests in my field of expertise. A short time after I graduated from my program, my university hired me to teach a Psychoanalysis class. Ever since, I work as a Psychoanalysis professor at the University of Montreal.
