I am currently studying Social Science at Saint-Hyacinthe Cegep. I've been studying in that program for two years now, and I still have one year left before getting my diploma. After finishing this program, I don't know if I want to go to the University of Laval in Quebec City, or to go Limoilou Cegep and try a career program.

It's been one year since I first start university at the University of Laval, and it's been really difficult. My courses are hard, and even if I try to persevere, I'm still getting bad grades. This program is not what I think it would be, and I don't have fun studying. I don't know what I should do. Should I try to get my Bachelor's degree in tourism or should I drop school?

This Tourism program is really fun, and I like it a lot. It's been 3 years since I first started here, and I only have a few months left before getting my diploma. I did a lot of traveling, I met new people, and I made a lot of connection for future jobs. Last week, I got offered to do an international internship to learn new things about tourism for when I get my diploma. It's in Europe, and it's for five months. This experience will be paid, and I find it really interesting. If I don't want to do this internship, I can start an OJT here in Quebec City in a company to become a tour leader in the city.

Despite all the hard work, and the bad grades, I finally managed to get my bachelor's degree in tourism. I'm really proud of myself. Now, it's time to go on the labor market. Last week, I got an offer to go working at a big festival in Quebec City. It could be a great experience to go work for them. However, I really wanted to go work for a travel agency. I don't know what to choose between those two options.

I realized that dropping university wasn't a really good idea. I have nowhere to go work now because I don't have a diploma. Most of the places where I'm interested in working demand a diploma, but I don't have one. I don't know what to do. Should I go back and try harder at university, despite all of my difficulties, or should I find a work where it doesn't ask for any diploma?

I just finished my internship in France as a tour guide, and it was a really good experience. I now have the choice to stay here or to go back in Quebec City to find a work there. If I stay here, I will work in a popular museum as a tour guide. If I go back in Quebec, I will need to find a work by myself. Maybe as a guide in the Aquarium?

When I finished school, I was approached by an airplane company to become a flight attendant. I decided to give it a try, and I am now doing my OJT to work with that company. It's a big company, known all around the world for their good work conditions. It can be really fun to always travel and to see new country every time, but I don't know if I want to live a big part of my life in an airplane. I'm looking forward to finding something else, but I don't know if I should finish my OJT before working somewhere else.

I decided to go work for the Festival d'été de Quebec because I thought the experience would be great. I have been working three years for them now, and I feel comfortable in this place. The wage is really good, I have great work conditions, and I have access to a good compensation package. I really like working there, but do I want to do that for the rest of my life, or should I go find something new to try?

I've been working for the travel agency for a couple of years now, and I'm not sure I like it. The workplace is not my favorite place to be, there's a lot of manipulation, people always serve themselves before thinking of the company, there are a lot of threats, and the wage is not good for all the things I have to do. However, I just been asked to improve my position at work, so maybe I can have better work condition.

It's been 43 years now that I'm working for the FEQ, and I'm now Directors of Operations for the festival. I'm starting to think about getting retired, but I don't want to leave this part of my life. I feel like going on a retirement will take a part of myself, and I don't want that. They will need somebody to replace me, but I don't know who. Should I take my retirement now and leave them find somebody else, or should I find somebody myself and train them before taking my retirement?

The new job seems interesting. I'm now a trainee in a National park in Quebec City. I'm currently doing an on-the-job-training. Yet, it's a good experience and the wage is great, but at some moments, I miss my previous job and the experience it gave me. I don't know if I should continue my OJT in the National park, or go back to my previous occupation.

Deciding to retire, and leaving the part of finding a new employee to somebody else was probably the best decision I have ever made. I didn't have to wait on somebody to leave my job, so the drive of work wasn't really there before I took my retirement. For the money, I don't really have any worries about this, because I got some pension with the festival company, and before I decided to retire, I set aside some money for my future payment. Now I'm fully relaxed, and I don't have any worries or pressure about anything.

Train somebody before retiring.

Deciding to find somebody to take my place by myself before retiring is probably the worst idea I've ever made. The drudgery and drive of work is crazy, and I don't want to be here anymore. I'm always doing interview to find somebody new, but nobody is competent enough for that position. I don't know what to do anymore, I'm old, and I don't have enough energy.

Try to find a work without a diploma.

I have nowhere to go. Every place I tried demands a diploma, and I don't have one, so I have nowhere to go. I will probably be by myself for the rest of my life, with no home, no food, and nobody by my side. I should've continued university and tried to persevere when its was the time. Now my dreams in tourism, as a travel agent or as a traveler are a flop, there's no way I could earn a good wage, not enough to have a good life, and my family think I'm a failure because I dropped school. I will be alone for the rest of my life.

Deciding to improve my position as a travel agent in the office wasn't as great as I thought it was going to be. I have to manage all the employees and office problems. For the past few weeks, there are a lot of sexual harassment cases that just came out in the office, and I have to deal with it. I taught that improving my position will still keep me as a travel agent and that I could still help people with their vacations, but I'm always in the office managing everything. I should not have accepted the new position. Should I quit now or stay in the travel agent office for a few my years before getting retired?

Working as a SEPAQ guide in the National park is really fun. I've been doing that for 30 years now, and I'm the oldest worker here. I love my job. People are fun to work with, I'm always outside, I get to walk every day, and the work condition are really good. In a few weeks, it will be my time to retire, and I'm glad that I choose to continue my training here because I got a good life doing what I love.

Deciding to quit this job was the best choice I've ever made. I was not comfortable in that place, there was a lot of corruption, the conditions weren't great, and the environment was toxic. I'm just sad because working as a travel agent was my dream growing up, and knowing that my experience was bad, I feel like I did something wrong to the little girl in me. But now, I can do whatever I want, I don't have any work pressure, and I can be myself. I'm now planning a vacation to Europe to try to forget this bad experience of life. When I'm going to come back, it will be time for my retirement, so I only have good times in front of me.

I'm tired. I want to stop everything. The drive of work is insane, and I think I'm going crazy. It's time to retire, but I'm afraid I don't have enough money to stop working. The company is not letting me have any pension for my retirement. I'm really anxious about my future payment. I will have some of the government pensions, but will it be enough? What will happen if I don't do all of my payment. I should not have to worry about this. I'm old, and I don't have energy. That wasn't the life I wanted.

I chose to build a new life and to start working as a touristic guide in a popular museum in France. I made a lot of great contacts, I had a good time working there, and the work conditions were really great. Working in Europe is a lot different from working in Quebec, and it gave me a lot of new experiences. Now it's time to go back to Canada because I'm taking my retirement. I've been in France for the past 40 years, and I made a good life there, but for my retirement, I decided to go back to where I'm from, and past the last moment of my life there.

I decided to come back in my country because I missed my family and my friends so much. I went to the Aquarium of Quebec, and try to see if there was a place for me to work, and turns out I'm now an employee there. My OJT wasn't complicated and my coworkers are really great. I'm happy to be here, and the environment is really chill. However, I just got a call from the Aquarium of Toronto to go work for them. Should I go, or stay in this comfortable work here?

Deciding to stay here was a good idea for the first few years, but one year ago, they change the boss, and he was very bad. He didn't care about his employees, and if something went wrong, he fired you. That's what happened to me. I did one little mistake, and now I don't have a job anymore. Even time to retire has come, I'm sad that my work experiences in life ended on a bad note. I didn't even have access to a pension from the aquarium to pay my mortgage or any payment for my retirement. I'm lucky that the government has some pension for me, and that I set aside some money for this time.

Working at this aquarium is so much different from working at the one in Quebec City. It's bigger, there're more animals, and there's a lot more tourists. The job is basically the same, but the experience is different, and I'm glad that I moved to Toronto to try this job. It's now time to retire, and I'm glad of what I have accomplished in my life.

Continue to work as a flight attendant.

I decided to stay and to continue to work as a flight attendant. The conditions were too good to go work somewhere else, so finished my OJT. It's been 20 years now that I'm working with the company, and I couldn't ask for better conditions. The wage is really high, I already have some pension set aside by the company for when I'm going to retire in a few years, and the environment is not toxic at all. I'm planning on staying with that company until my retirement, because I'm really comfortable here. I get to travel all the time, and there's no pressure about the job.

Spending the major parts of my life in an airplane was not I wanted to do. Even if the conditions were good, I decided to try to find something else. In fact, I want to start my own business. I'm still debating if I want to start a new event here in Quebec City or, if I want to open a new hotel in British Colombia. I know it's far from here but, this province is really popular, and I think it can work well if I decided to open my own hotel there.

I decided to create an Indie pop / folk Music Festival here in Quebec City. It takes time during the summer and a lot of artists are coming here to play. With the years, the festival became more and more popular and a lot of people are coming to watch and listens to the artists. Some people like Noah Kahan, The 1975, and more are coming this year. Creating my own festival is really something I'm proud of and the money I get for it is crazy. I set aside some part of it for my retirement, which is soon. I guess I will leave the control of the festival to my kids, and I will be able to relax, while watching them grow into my realization.

Open your own hotel.

Deciding to open my own hotel in British Colombia was a beautiful idea. The view I have from my hotel is incredible, the tourist that comes here are really happy of the experience, and the money I make is crazy. Having my own project to welcome tourists from all around the world and seeing that their experience is five stars is making me really happy and emotive. I couldn't ask for a better place to work and to spend my life.
