"One Sweet Day," composed and performed by Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men This is one of my favorite songs because it has a combination of good lyric narrative, amazing voices, melody, and incredible harmony, all of which give the song its unique style. The use of rhetorical devices applied to the lyrics of the song helps one to understand better how words have a connection; the composers express their emotions by telling the story of an event that happened in their lives, making the connection more personal and real.
