When I arrived in Quebec from France, I had to make an important choice about the location of my apartment.
Choice 1 : Live Next to the College.
Choice 2 : Live in a Fancy Penthouse Downtown.

Living next to the college was a great idea. In fact, many of my comrades are also living next to it. We are able to study in group and help each other to worthwhile of our tasks and homework. However, I have to make another decision. My friend Alex is asking me to join the soccer team, but at the same time my friend Judith is asking me to join the Building Mechanics study association.
Choice 1 : Join the Soccer Team.
Choice 2 : Join the Building Mechanic Student Association.
Living far away from school was not such a good idea. I live faraway from my classmate, and it is hard to study with them late at night and on the weekend. It is hard to socialized too. A part of me wants to stay focus on my study, but the other want to hang out to meet new people and have social interactions. What should I do?
Choice 1 : Stay at home and study hard.
Choice 2 : Go out at a bar and try to meet new people.
Joining the soccer team was an excellent idea. Doing some physical activities helps me to relieve my stress. It also helps me to be more focused on my study. It is a really challenging activity because twice per month we participate it the French Canadian youth league. My coach is really enthusiastic about my future as an athlete. He was contacted by some recruiters from some MLS professional team about my performance. One of the best teams of MLS wants to recruit me for a try. However, I have to drop my study and move out to Miami. What choice should I do? Keep studying at College or take a bet and move to Miami?
Choice 1 : Keep Studying at College.
Choice 2 : Join the Soccer Team in Miami.
I have no regrets of joining the Mechanics Student Association. In fact, I have met a lot of people that share the same interests in me with mechanical engineering. We work on a lot of different projects, it is a really invaluable experience because I can set a foot in the door of some factual aspects of my future career. Thanks to this club, I was able to learn the ropes of being of mechanical building. However, I wonder if I should continue to study and go to the university to get an engineer diploma, or I should start to work directly at the end of my DEC.
Choice 1 : Go to university.
Choice 2 : Start my Career Directly After College Graduation.
Being alone and far from my classmates is not helpful at all to stay focus on my study. I need a perfect time management. I put aside all distraction that keeps me away from being a straight A's. However, sometimes it is really tough and maddening to just spend my time studying. Therefore, I have thought about starting my small business or doing an internship.
Choice 1 : Start my Small Business.
Choice 2 : Do an Internship?
Going out was an excellent decision. I started to be overwhelmed. Therefore, I needed to meet people. It is not easy to live far from his family and his home. I have met a lot of new people from different part of the world, it is so enriching to discover people with various religions and origins. Sometimes I have to hold myself from hanging out with my new friends because I have to stay focus on my study too. However, I have met a girl, her name is Sarah. I like her. I wonder if I should take my chance and ask her to go to the movie theater with me or do nothing.
Choice 1 : Take my Chance and Ask Sarah.
Choice 2 : Do Nothing.
Even though I have some regrets about no joining the soccer team in Miami, I chose to volunteer abroad to experience something new and give a purpose to my life.

Living Montreal to go abroad was a tough decision. My parents were really skeptical about me dropping school to take my chance at soccer with an uncertain future. It was a good choice. I worked really hard, and I finally got my first professional contract. If I set aside money, I will be able to take my retirement pretty early even without my full pension.

After I got my College diploma, I chose to continue studying, and I went to ETS, an engineering school in Montreal. It was a really successful career choice. In fact, after graduated, I got instantly hired in one of the biggest companies in Montreal.

Instantly after graduating from College, I chose to discover the corporate world as fast as possible. As soon as I got my diploma, the HR of a big company based in Toronto, contacted me to take the place of a vacant position. This position offered me a lot of benefits. I became fast a good employee, and I was able to ask for a better salary.

Before, I decided to create my small business, my dead-end job did not procure me any contentment. I felt powerless, alienated. I experienced a lack of recognition. However, when I abolished myself from these chains, and I created my small business. Although it requires a lot of organization, and working overtime, this decision remains to this day my greatest accomplishment.

During the first few weeks of my internship, I followed training only by watching tutorial videos. I was definitely overwhelmed by the number of things I still had to learn. Luckily, after a few weeks, I started the on-the-job-training. This really helped me get my foot in the door. With the help of my trainers, I learned the ropes. I test drove various tools, and some suggestions from my trainer came in handy, especially because I had to use some dangerous tools. I surprised myself because despite the fact of being a new intern, I was able to make myself useful quite quickly, and gained a lot of self-confidence. Also, during my internships, I experienced a lot of things that I learned at school and discovered some various aspects of corporate life. I hope that in the future, I will do again some internships and have other interns to share with.

Sarah and I are not dating each other. I am happy that I had the courage of asking her out.

It was a good thing to do nothing. I am really clumsy with my words, so I might have hurt her by mistake. I would have felt ashamed, if because of my clumsiness she understood my flirting as a harassment. I will wait for a better occasion to take my chance.
