Well, I'm not so sure anymore... College has been really stressful for me, and it made me rethink about a lot of things, including my future. If I decide to not go to university, my other choice was to go work for the city of Laval. After all It's a decent job, and you don't need much to get in...

Choice 1 : Go to University.

Choice 2 : Go work for the city.

I'm currently in my first year of university and honestly so far so good. I thought it was going to be too much for me to handle. I'm surprised by how well I handled myself. To be honest, I serious thought about going to work for the city because I felt like University was going to be too overwhelming for me and that I wasn't going to make it. School is a stressful environment, and I didn't really want to spend another 4-5 years in this situation. After all, psychology is my passion so why give up now, it seems so easy to continue!

Choice 1 : Do a bachelor's degree.

Go work for the city.

So, I decided to not go to university, college started to seriously affect my mental health and I felt like university was going to be worse, and I don't want to go through that again. So, I decided to apply for a secretary position at city of Laval. After a few days, a woman who works in the Human Resources department of the city of Laval called me, and we scheduled an interview. The day finally arrived, and I did my interview. I left the office feeling really confident about myself, in my opinion, things went well. Two days later, the HR lady called me to finally give me an answer...

Choice 1 : I didn't get the job.

Choice 2 : I got the job.

Do a bachelor's degree.

I finally finished my bachelor's degree in psychology, and honestly I couldn't be happier! It wasn't an easy route, but I'm finally done. I found a great job at psychiatric hospital. I'm really happy that I continued to work hard and did not give up on myself.

I spoke for 20 minutes with the lady who interviewed me, and she said great things about my interview, she said that I was well-spoken and that she loved my energy. So far so good right? But no, the phone call didn't end the way I expected it to end. She said that I was too unexperienced, and she was looking for someone with more experience. I was little disappointment, but I didn't let kill me, for now, I'm going to take time to think about what I'm going to do.

I got the job.

The woman who interviewed me called me and gave me great news! I got the job! After all I been through during college, I can finally see some light at the end of the tunnel and the crazy part is that I chose the easy route.
