The moment I chose this career.

Before I start telling the story, you have to know that I went to an adult school to finish my grade eleven earlier than what was I supposed to. I made that choice because I didn't like my school. A lot of people were telling me not to do that because I could drop out of school, but nothing could make me change my choice. I was going to that school or wasn't going to school anymore. Fortunately, I managed to finish my eleventh grade, but what was I supposed to do next? I didn't know if I wanted to go to cegep in the winter session or wait until the next one. I even went to see an orientation counselor, but that didn't help that much. I didn't want to stop going to school because I knew it would harder to start again, so I chose to go to cegep in the winter session. The hardest part was to choose my field of study because I had one week to make my decision. I chose to study in finances. Accounting and Management seemed pretty interesting, so I chose that field of study, and one of the multiple options of schools was Ahuntsic College, that's why I'm here. Unfortunately, I've become such a lazy person, and sometimes I just want to drop out of school, but at the same time, I know that in a future I will regret that choice. Sometimes I just feel like a need a break of everything, so I can come back with more strength.

I want to finish my studies, so I can have my career secured in case I don't find anything else to do for a living. I like this career when I understand well the theory, the problem is that I'm so lazy and right now I'm at a point where I don't really understand it because I don't have to motivation to. But, I know for sure that it is just a phase and everything will go by. That's why I don't want to drop out of school, and I want to become an accountant. I like this career because I can work on my own, and I don't have to depend on anyone else, except in the beginning, while a make some contacts.

Take a Break and Have a Better Comeback.

Sometimes, I feel like taking a break would make feel so much better and would help me choose a career that I really like, because I would have so much time to think and to do some research on what really interests me. I could also try new things and learn new skills that could help me open my own business. Nowadays, you don't really need studies to be successful thanks to internet and all the digital platforms that exists. That mean that I could simply work a full time job, save some money, open my own business, and make some publicity on the internet. If I have the good techniques to make publicity, my business could blow out and become so important. If not, that would be really sad, but again, it's not over, and I'm pretty sure other opportunities will come and go. Going back to school could be another option, but with a career that I'll be sure to love.
