The beginning.
When I was in high school, I was faced with a hard choice.
Choice 1 : Continue high school.
Choice 2 : Find a job.

Even though I was uncertain, I chose to pursue my studies. Following this, in high school, I pulled off straight A's in most exams. Due to my hard work and time management, I gained thorough understanding in a lot of my classes. In preparation for a math exam, I was thoughtful of every detail, nothing was cursory, and I didn't put aside anything. When the day of the exam came, it was maddening, and I thought it was a disaster. It was the hardest exam of my life, and I even cried when I came back home. I honestly believed that I was going to have the worst grade ever, but when I received my grade, I had 100%. I went tell my parents, and they were really proud and speechless, and I couldn't even today explain how I manage to get this grade. Then, I went to college, only to be faced with a hard choice.
Choice 1 : Volunteered abroad Canada.
Choice 2 : Participate in an on-the-job-training in a Montreal police department.
Find a job.
I chose to drop out of school because I wanted to make a living. I started to work in a subway, and another guy and I were in OJT at the same time. The job was really easy, the wage was acceptable and neither one of us add difficulties with the work, but we were always short in employees, so it was often really hard to managed all the clients. Our manager had an obsession with the speed of service which often caused problems. One day, when I was still a trainee, there were a lot of clients, and I learn all the ins-and-outs of the job. The same evening, there was a lot of bias and drawback. When my colleague left the subway, he forgot about his OJT and left the ovens open. The next morning, the fast food restaurant was all burned.

Volunteered abroad Canada.
When I started studying Police Technology, our teacher suggests that we volunteered abroad Canada for educative purposes. At first, I was really skeptical about volunteering. I thought there were more disadvantages than advantages, but quickly I realized the invaluable experience that this trip would be. At this time, school was hard, and I had difficulties with my surrounding. I was tired of my routine and wanted things to change. I needed renewal and to feel like I was making a difference in the world. I called my family to announce the news and everybody was really excited for me. The joy in my face showed them how happy I was. A year later, we went to Jamaica as volunteers and we in-depth every detail of this country trying to help his population. Now that I'm home, I love to explain to people in dead-end jobs or even to the ones that earn premium wage how magical and refreshing this trip was. I am really proud to call me a volunteer.

When I started studying Police Technology, I had the chance with others' interns to participate in an on-the-job-training in a Montreal police department. I was really grateful for the opportunity to learn the ropes of my future job, and to be an intern in this department. Unfortunately, my mentor was the worst police officer. I always felt overwhelmed and keep a foot in the door. A few weeks after my internship started, during my test drive, my mentor was shot due to his lack of focus. I was with him when everything happened. I took his unconscious body away as fast as I could. I was really overwhelmed with the situation, and when I thought we were safe, a bullet found a way to hit my shoulder. Everything went black and after a few seconds I loose consciousness. The reinforcement comes in handy, because it could have been way worse. This experience was traumatizing, and now I won't ever underestimate learning the ropes of a job.

I became a police officer in Quebec. I earn a good living by keeping the peace in my country. I started a family, and I live a peaceful and happy life.

Since I didn't want to go back to school, I decided to find a new job in another subway. One of my coworkers, Alex, was always undermining my work. I obviously didn't realize it at first, but I finally got sucked up in his game. He was always hindering me by taking breaks at the worst moments or by telling my boss I wasn't helping the other employees. In addition to all of that, he withheld my subway shirt, so that I was forced to go to work without it. I tried more often than not talking to my boss, explaining the office politics I was facing, but I realize there was no fate when she reveals herself to be Alex's mother. I was really tired of being undermined, and since I never desire getting sucked up in these problems, I decided to leave the subway, but not without a little revenge. I worked hard to make my last two shifts the most annoying for Alex, making sure to hinder him as much as possible. I was withholding Alex in the back store as much as I could, making sure the customers will get impatient. I played with him all day long until he complained to his mother. She fired me right away, and I accepted my fate, but the other employees followed my example. I was really honored.
