The end of the College.

I just graduated from Montmorency College. I have been studying for 3 years in the program Insurance and Financial Advising. I finally had to make a choice. Am I going into the Insurance field or the Financial Advising field?

Choice 1 : Insurance field.

Choice 2 : Financial Advising field.

I chose the field of insurance. I really liked these insurance courses. I always get straight A's.The only problem is that I applied to two places and both places chose me. The first one is Desjardins and the other one is Intact Assurance. What should I do?

Choice 1 : Accept the job at Desjardins.

Choice 2 : Accept the job at Intact Assurance.

I chose the field of Financial Advising. In my classes I pull off all of my exams.I liked making financial statements and being able to find solutions to help future customers.The only problem is that I applied to two places and both places chose me. The first one is CIBC and the other one is RBC. What should I do?

I really like my job at Desjardins. OJT they showed me how to use their systems to create customer records. I have bias for phone calls because it brings me closer to customers. But, I am poorly paid. Should I find myself something better or quit?

I really like my job at Intact Assurance. I also really like my coworkers. I learn the ropes of the job. I have a lot of stress, and I put a lot of pressure on myself.I fall into depression and I have to rest. Return to the beginning of the story and choose a new route.

I'm happy! RBC was my number 1 choice. For sure there is the ins-and-outs of the job like every other job. The only drawback is that it's far from where I live. Should I ask to telework or do I continue to go to the office?

Best decision I've ever made. I talked to my boss, and he saw the potential in me, so he agreed to raise my salary.
