Internships.

I'm in my last year of study as a pharmacist. I finally felt like I have a purpose, and I am being offered a lot of choices of internships abroad. I am excited to become an intern. It feels like a new start in my life. I've always dreamed of being an intern in a field I like. As future interns, we were offered two choices concerning an on-the-job-training. Either, we have an internship in a hospital or a pharmacy. It is a difficult choice, I don't know which one to pick.

Choice 1 : Internship in a hospital.

Choice 2 : Internship in a pharmacy.

There are a lot of advantages working in a hospital, but turns out there are a lot of rumors too. One of my co-workers told me to look up his name on the internet. He told me I would be shocked with what is on there. I've researched the name of my boss and turns out he has a criminal record for murder. It was 15 years ago. He must have changed by now. He's calling me to his office. Should I go to his office or make up an excuse.

Working in this pharmacy got me in a little bit of trouble. My boss is being rude to my co-workers. He is undermining a lot of our work. As an intern, I feel that I can't do much. My boss is offering me a job at this pharmacy, but he told me that I should report the other employees, if they are not working well.I feel like it's wrong to tell on my co-workers, but taking the job could give me such a good salary. I need to make a choice. Also, all of my co-workers know about this decision I need to make, because the boss told them to put me in distress. I take the job and tell on my co-workers, or I refuse the job, and I lose money.

I went into his office, and he seemed concerned. He looked at me, and knew that in my glance that there was something wrong. I told him that there are rumors running around the hospital. The kind of rumors you don't want to hear. His face changed colour in an instant. I said that that I could not tell him, and we go on with our lives because it's in the past, or I tell him, and I want an explanation.

Choice 2 : Tell him and ask for an explanation.

Make something up.

My boss told me to go to his office and he noticed that I was acting different. I told him that I had an emergency and that I needed to give a patient his medications. I will never know if the murder was true. I'd rather not know. I don't want to get involved in the personal life of my boss, because it can make me look unprofessional. I need to focus on my work as a pharmacist. I worked hard for this. You need to go back in the beginning.

Take the job and tell on my co-workers.

I took the job, and I told on my co-workers. I told him which of his employees weren't working well. I felt anxious doing that, because it is mean and sad to tell on someone who did nothing wrong. I got the job and got a good salary. My boss was proud of me, but I lost all of my friends at work and nobody's speaking to me. I feel kind of sad with this decision. I should have listened to my heart instead of picking the money, because I've lost trust in my co-workers just for a better salary. You need to go back in the beginning.

Decline the job and lose money.

I was really overwhelmed when I told him I didn't want the job. He didn't take it well, but my co-workers were very happy. They considered me as a friend, and I gained knowledge. I really learned the ropes. I learned an invaluable lesson by declining this job. You should always listen to your heart to make the right choice. You need to go back in the beginning.

I didn't tell him the rumors. He noticed I was weird towards him, but he didn't question it a lot. I got back to being nice with everyone without getting myself too much involved in drama. I'd rather mind my business and do the work I worked all those years for. Studying to become a pharmacist wasn't easy. I don't want to get too much sucked up in rumors at work. I made the right decision, because telling him the rumour don't make me gain anything. I'll just lost myself in business that has nothing to do with me. You need to go back in the beginning.

I told him the rumors about a murder he did. He didn't take it well because it wasn't true. His wife was murdered in an incident, but he never murdered anyone. It was all fake. People thought he murdered someone because he was there when it happened and his face got all over the new but there weren't any context. The news didn't tell people that it was his wife.The story got twisted around the hospital. Everybody got sucked up in this rumor. It wasn't true. You need to go back in the beginning.
