What a tormented life!

My last semester.

After graduation, I am considering continuing to study in the field of Psychology because it's the program that interests me the most. Now, I have to decide about the university that I want to go. I really want to go to Montreal University, but it is far away from my house and UQAM University is closer. Which university should I go?

Choice 1 : Go to UQAM University.

Choice 2 : Go to Montreal University.

Graduation

Go to UQAM University.

It's been a couple of months, and I love this university. The teachers are very nice. I love the field that I'm studying in, and I have straight A's. My psychology teacher asks all of the students to choose between an internship or to have another psychology class because he wants us to learn more about this domain. What should I do?

Choice 1 : Do an internship.

Choice 2 : Be in another psychology class.

UQAM University

Go to Montreal University.

I hate this university, the teachers are insulting me when I ask questions, they say that I am not smart. My motivation is so low because of them that I have a 20% in all of my exams. What am I supposed to do?

Choice 1 : Ask a teacher's help.

Choice 2 : Study harder.

Choice 3 : Take a year for traveling.

Montreal University

Ask a teacher's help.

I go at one of the psychology teachers office, I am surprised when I see the teacher because he looks a little young. I ask him to help me to understand some words like dysphoria and behaviorist psychology because it's gonna be in my exam. Instead of helping me, he is flirting by smiling too much at me and by looking up and down. I can not concentrate because I really don't feel confortable. What should I do?

Choice 1 : Asking the teacher to stop flirting.

Choice 2 : Continue to ask him questions like nothing happen.

Flirtation

Study harder.

I study more than 20 hours a day. The situation is overwhelming for me with all the studies that I have to do. I don't even eat one meal a day, I sleep less than three hours and my concentration is very low. Right now, I am walking to my class to do my exam. I am extremely tired but I feel ready. I walk in the class and I faint. Everyone stands up in the class to find out what is going on, and they call the ambulance.

Choice 1 : Go to UQAM University.

Girl fainting

Do an internship.

After two months, I still love my internship. I learn the ropes from an employee that teaches me how to help the patients with their disorders. Though, my colleague is supposed to help me to continue my internship, but he is absent every day. But it is really important that I do an internship to discover how to help people with their mental health. What should I do?

Choice 1 : Call my colleague and confront him.

Choice 2 : Tell my boss.

Internship

Asking the teacher to stop flirting.

I tell him to stop flirting with me, and he realizes that I am actually scared of not knowing what he is going to do. At that moment, when I defend myself by telling him to stop, he tells me that normally a lot of girls do not tell him to stop before he does anything. He realizes that the other girls that were victims of sexual harassment did not defend themselves not because they liked what he did to them but because they were too scared of doing anything. He tells me his real identity which he is not a real teacher. He decides that it is time to stop traumatizing girls, and he reports himself by going to the police department.

Choice 1 : My last semester.

Police department

Continue to ask him questions like nothing happen.

He is misconducted by touching my hand improperly. I try do let it go, and he grabs my hand, and then I try to stand up, but he pulls me back. I am so scared and I scream for help. While I am screaming louder, I try to get off from him, he begins to touch every part of my body and I am crying so hard. Someone heard me from the hall and call the police. The police arrive and the aggressor runs away. The police tell me that the guy is wanted for two years because of his criminal case of sexual harassment with a lot of girls. One of the officers tells me that my aggressor is not a real teacher. He is a student from another university, and he pretends to be a professor with a lot of teaching experience by falsify his CV. The police also tells me that the impostor does that to have more chance of making more victims. They never found him.

Choice 1 : Asking the teacher to stop flirting.

Sexual harrasment

Be in another psychology class.

This class is very difficult but also very interesting. I learn about psychopathology and schizophrenia. When the teacher tells us about schizophrenia, I realize that one of the students has this disorder that can be dangerous. What am I supposed to do?

Choice 1 : Tell the teacher about the student.

Choice 2 : Confront the student.

Teacher who teach psychology

Tell the teacher about the student.

I say to the teacher that one of the students has schizophrenia. He tells me that it is not him to talk to the student about this, that his only job is to teach us and not to be a psychologist to the students. The only choice that I have left is to confront the student.

Choice 1 : Confront the student.

Schizophrenia

Confront the student.

I tell him that I think he has schizophrenia because most of the time he is happy, and then he is mad at everyone. When I say that to him "if I were you, I would talk to a professional about your disorder" he begins to be really mad, and it can be dangerous when he is angry because we don't know what he is going to do. What should I do?

Choice 1 : Tell him that he is exaggerating.

Choice 2 : Calm him.

Angry guy

Call my colleague and confront him.

When I call my colleague, he insults me. He is corrupted because he says that the reason why he do not come to work anymore it's because I am a girl. So, because of that, he thinks that it is not worth to teach me things because of my gender. He says that I am never going to understand and that I will never succeed. Now, my only option is to tell my boss.

Choice 1 : Tell my boss.

The deception of not having a good call with my colleague

Calm him.

I say to him that I am just trying to help him and that I am sorry if I am offending him. Even if I stress about the fact that I don't know if he is going to listen to my advice, it turns out in the positive way. He tells me that he never realizes that he can not control his emotions, and that he will consult soon a psychologist to help him to control his emotions. I am happy that I help him with his mental health.

Choice 1 : My last semester.

Guy who consults a psychologist

Tell him that he is exaggerating.

The student with schizophrenia is angrier at me. He begins to throw me his pencils and his school books. I tell him to stop doing that because it is hurting me, but then he throws be a chair on my head. I am bleeding a lot on the floor and my teacher run to help me to get up, and he yells at the student to go outside of the class and that he is going to be suspended. My teacher calls the ambulance.

Choice 1 : Calm him.

Guy who throws a chair

Tell my boss.

I tell my boss what my colleague said to me. He is really surprised, and he looks at me like he has a great idea. He says that "if I were you, I would take this opportunity of proving that you can succeed and nothing will stop you for doing what you like. If it can help you to prove him wrong, you can do a foot in the door by replacing him, by being the new psychologist of his patients at the psychology clinic". I am really happy that my boss is letting me prove to my colleague that I can succeed as much as him even though I am a girl but the pressure is too heavy. What should I do?

Choice 1 : Clinical Psychology.

Choice 2 : Finish my internship.

Tell my boss

Finish my internship.

Even if I do not finish my internship, I still learn more about the job of being a psychologist. Maybe, it isn't a good idea to do an internship. I am going to choose the other option which is to be in another psychology class.

Choice 1 : Be in another psychology class.

The internship is a bad idea

Clinical Psychology.

My first patient is a woman. Before our consultation, I did a background check by reading what my colleague wrote in his reports. She has a lot of panic attack because when she was a child, she saw her parents died in the Lebanon war. When I see her, she tells me everything about her panic attacks which they happen once a while. I tell her that how some aspects of her childhood trauma cause her panic attacks. While I tell her that, she begins to sweat, and I think that it relates to the study of psycholinguistics because some words are still traumatizing for her because of her story. I continue to tell her that her panic attacks is due to her phobia. She begins to breath heavily, and she has a big panic attack.

Choice 1 : Scream for help.

Choice 2 : Reassuring her.

Panic attack

Take a year for traveling.

It is really fun to just relax and to stop being stress about the university. I travel in all the countries of Europe. This continent has such beautiful countries. But now, it is time to go back to school because I am still passionate about psychology.

Choice 1 : My last semester.

Europe

Scream for help.

A guy runs and says that he is a life saver. He is telling to the girl that everything is going to be okay, and he does the breathing exercise with her. When she is calms, she looks at his eyes and she just fell in love with him. After this situation, the lovers walk outside of the clinic together. Now, they have been together for one year, and they have never been happier.

Choice 1 : My last semester.

A guy and a girl who fall in love

Reassuring her.

I tell her that it's okay to feel this way and what she's been through is really difficult. I am trying to reassure her, but she has harder time to breath and now there is just one choice that is left to save her.

Choice 1 : Scream for help.

Reassuring someone
