After College.

This is it! My time at Montmorency College is almost done, and it is now time for me to choose which university I want to go to. I got straight A's during all my school years, and I have finally finished my pre-university program in Health Science. I applied to two universities in different programs. I have been accepted at the University of Montreal in architecture. I have also received a letter from the University of Sherbrooke in which I have been accepted in Medicine. It would be easier for me to go to the University of Montreal because if I go there, I could stay at my parents' house. On the other hand, I would like to go to the University of Sherbrooke since I have always dreamed to become a doctor. So, either I go to the University of Montreal in a program that was not my first choice, or I go to the University of Sherbrooke to become a doctor.

Choice 1 : I go to the University of Montreal in the Kinesiologist field.

Choice 2 : I go to the University of Sherbrooke in medicine program.

I go to the University of Montreal in the Kinesiologist field.

After a few weeks at university in this program, I just receive my first exam note and I fail it. I'm discouraged from the start of University.

Choice 1 : I put the effort and endure for better grades.

Choice 2 : I tell myself that's too hard for me and give up.

I go to the University of Sherbrook in medecin program.

I learn a lot in Sherbrooke and I come to visit my family once in a while. After four years, it is now time to choose if I want to specialize in a particular field or if, I want to practice general medicine. I also feel extremely overwhelmed because of all the work and, I consider taking a year to travel.

Choice 1 : I want to learn about a specialty in particular.

Choice 2 : I want to work as a family doctor and only work in general medicine.

I put the effort and endure for better grades.

Every day of the week, I concentrate on my studies and I try to improve myself. When I do not understand any concept, I will ask my teacher for help to allow me to move forward and increase my grades. By doing this, I maximize my chances of success, and I give up the excuses. A month later, I get a note, and I still failed.

Choice 1 : Takes summer courses to get good grades.

Choice 2 : Spread my classes over different years to lighten my session.

Give up.

I find myself at home doing nothing because I do not have a job. All of my friends are either at the University or they continue their professional training, so they are almost never available to keep me company.

Choice 1 : Start taking drugs.

Choice 2 : Start a professional training.

The specialty that I like.

After a lot of thought, I come to the conclusion that my favorite specialties are emergency medicine and oncology, which is the branch of medicine that deals with treatments of cancer.

Choice 1 : I like to work under pressure and I perform well with adrenaline, so I decide to specialize in emergency medicine.

Choice 2 : I prefer to work on treatments of cancer to understand better this illness and try to find a cure.

Be a general medicine.

I work in a well-known clinic. I earn a very high income, and I am happy with my job as a general practitioner. One of the doctors working in the clinic is become very flirtatious, to the point that it becomes an annoyance. Do I need to confront her directly or go to my boss?

Choice 1 : I tell the person to stop and also tell her that I am not interested and that I want to be left alone.

Choice 2 : Feeling extremely annoyed, I go directly to my boss and tell him about my colleague's behavior.

I decide to tell my boss to keep my integrity intact, trusting that my boss will give me credit for it.

I told my boss, and he immediately told the news and gave me credit for it. My thoughtful work has earned an important place in history and science.

Specialize in emergency medicine.

During my career as an emergency doctor, a man who got injured in a car crash arrives in the emergency room. However, after a background checks, I learn that this man murdered his entire family. I think about the drawbacks and the advantages of saving him. What should I decide to do?

Choice 1 : I think about my purpose as a doctor and decide to treat him like a regular patient.

Choice 2 : I think about his family and I decide to let secretly him die.

Work on treatments of cancer.

I am working as an intern in a new section of a hospital dedicated to finding a cure for cancer and treating patients who have cancer. During my internship, I find a cure that could potentially save millions of lives all around the globe.

Choice 1 : I decide to tell my boss to keep my integrity intact, trusting that my boss will give me credit for it.

Choice 2 : I keep it by myself and go to the government so that they can approve my cure and sell it. I will become rich!

Take summer courses to get good grades.

By opting for this method, it allows me to lighten my sessions and also not to waste time and gone as usual. Since I wasted no time in my summers, I had a very good job as a kinesiologist working with the Remparts de Quebec hockey team. I am very lucky to have had the chance to get my hands on this golden opportunity.

An additional year.

By opting for this method, I free myself a lot of time to be perfect in my work and this is an opportunity to succeed. But I'm wasting time, and I'm taking the time to enter the job market. Since I lost two years in my classes, I do not have a position as a kinesiologist, because no institution is looking for a kinesiologist. So, I have to wait for a vacancy, and I can then practice my job.

Be addictive.

The addiction I developed with the drug brings me into a very bad state. I can not get up in the morning without taking it. I am really in trouble. This time, I am taking too much. I consume too much and go to the hospital of an overdose.

Start a professional training.

I find a way to be happy. I discover a passion for being and architect, I will finish my training, and become a professional architect. I am really happy. I have a full-time job, and I make a very good living. In addition, I met an extraordinary woman. I am grateful to life for guiding me on my path.

My purpose as a doctor.

I have decided to save the murderer because of this, I kept my job and continued my career in medicine. Years later, I am watching the news, and I see that the man that I saved back in the days has committed another murder. I become depressed and decide to kill my self.

I have decided not to treat him and the murderer died because of me. However, because of this misconduct from my part, I got fired from my job, but the entire country, after finding out, treats me like a hero.

Stop!

After telling her to stop, my coworker does not take me seriously and says that she did not do anything wrong. After that, she makes a very degrading sexual comment. Should I decide to push this person or to leave quickly and complain to the HR department?

Choice 1 : I decide to push my colleague because I consider this to be sexual harassment and I want to teach her a lesson.

Choice 2 : I go to the Human Resources department because I have right now a good and concrete reason to file a complaint.

Very annoying.

When I tell my boss about my colleague's behavior, he does not do anything because being flirtatious is not a valid reason to give consequences to someone according to him.

Choice 1 : I decide to yell at my boss and tell him that he should not accept this kind of behavior because it ruins my work environment.

Choice 2 : I leave my boss's office and carry on with my life like nothing happened.

After I pushed her, she directly goes to the HR department and because of my act of violence, I was fired from the clinic and my reputation as a doctor is ruined. I become depressed because I worked so hard for this, and I become addicted to alcohol.

A good reason to complain.

The HR department is very understanding and immediately takes action against this. My colleague is transferred to another clinic and receives a formal warning. If she does something similar in the future, she will not be able to practice medicine anymore. I live a great life, and I become a well-known doctor.

Yell at my boss!

My boss is angry because of how I addressed to him and immediately fires me for my behavior. However, a few days later, I get a job offer from an excellent clinic in Montreal. I accept the offer, and I am pleased to know that this time, my colleagues are respectful and my boss is fair to their employees. I live a great life!

Like nothing happened.

I go back to my office, trying to forget what happened. I see a few patients and the annoying colleague then comes in. Angry that I told the boss, she threatens my family and becomes extremely violent. For the rest of my career, I live in fear of her and live a sad and fearful life.
