Opening Hours.

You and your friend John are walking toward the library. Both of you want to do some homework and borrow a novel to read in your free time. When you arrived in front of the building, there is a sign that says "CLOSED FOR none-of-your-business". John suggests leaving and coming back later. You really want to borrow the last book of the Harry Potter series. What should you and John do?

Choice 1 : Leave and come back later.

Choice 2 : You want to know why it's none of your business to enter.

Leave and come back later.

You know that John is right. Both of you start walking toward Second Cup, next to the library. In the cafe, you are still thinking about that sign in front of the library. It seems like a kid's craft instead of an official sign. Are you going to find an excuse to go to the library without telling John or you are staying with him?

Choice 1 : Find an excuse to go to the library alone.

Choice 2 : Stay with John and do your homework.

By Paul Sherlock [CC BY-SA 4.0 (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0)], from Wikimedia Commons

You want to know why it's none of your business to enter.

You lean toward the sign. It's made out of a ruled shed and some markers. It's like a kid drawing. You know there is something going on in there. John doesn't want to go. You tell him he can stay in front of the door or you convince him to come with you.

Choice 1 : John decides to stay outside or leave you to your adventure.

Choice 2 : John comes inside with you even if he doesn't like the situation.

Find an excuse to go to the library alone.

You look everywhere in the restaurant. There isn't many people and the door is far from the washroom. If you try to sneak out of the washroom to avoid John and go to the library, you have to cross the entire restaurant. You definitely don't have an excuse to escape and go to the library. Just hope you are going to go back because you really want the last Harry Potter book in your series.

Choice 1 : The End.

Stay with John and do your homework.

You decide to stay with John. You know John is right. There is probable nothing going on at the library. You enjoy a cup of coffee and you do your homework all day. Both of you forget about the library.

Choice 1 : The End.

By Asturio Cantabrio [CC BY-SA 4.0 (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/4.0)], from Wikimedia Commons

John decides to stay outside and leave you to your adventure.

John refuses to enter the library and thinks you are crazy to keep looking for trouble. He shouts that if you get caught by the police, it's not going to be his problem. You wave goodbye and push the front door of the library. It's not locked so you enter. The library is in the dark. The windows bring a little bit of sunny light inside and you can see two paths. Which way do you go first?

Choice 1 : There is the reception desk where you can borrow your books, on the left

Choice 2 : There is the bookcases and the stairs that lead to the second floor, on your right.

John comes inside with you even if he doesn't like the situation.

You push the door and you are surprised because it's unlocked. The windows bring light in the dark library. John wants you to find your book first. You know it is on the second floor but you want to explore the first floor to see if you see anything suspicious.

Choice 1 : Find your book on second floor.

Choice 2 : Explore first floor.

Reception desk on the left.

You explore behind the desk. There is a broken phone. You can't call anyone if you are in trouble. You try to flip on the lights but there isn't electricity. You'll have to progress in the dark but you're not scared because you already know every inch of that library. You check under the desk and on the counters. You find some open books about theft, pirates and bedtime stories. What do they have in common? They are children's literature. Are they some evidences or just ordinary books?

Choice 1 : Maybe evidences, you take them with you.

Choice 2 : I'll leave them there and continue exploring the reception desk.

By Woomiusee [CC BY-SA 3.0 (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0)], from Wikimedia Commons

Bookcases and the stairs on your right.

You choose to start on your right. You see a kind of glowy light between two bookcases. You can't resist the temptation to find out what it is so you start to go toward the light. You hear a strange noise and the more you walk towards the light, the stronger it becomes. It sounds like spaceship noises. Do you want to continue towards the light?

Choice 1 : Yes, you are such a curious person.

Choice 2 : No, you don't trust it so you'll find a weapon first.

By BrokenSphere [CC BY-SA 3.0 (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0) or GFDL (http://www.gnu.org/copyleft/fdl.html)], from Wikimedia Commons

Find your book on second floor.

You decide to listen to John because he came with you even if he disagreed with your behaviors. The stairs creak under our feet. I hope no one is in the library. I don't want anyone to find out and throw us in jail or whatever. With the Dewey code, the international language of libraries, I'm looking for my book. John is looking all around him. I can tell he is nervous. You finally found the bookcase where your book is supposed to be. There is no Harry Potter books. They are all gone.

Choice 1 : You go in search for your book through the library.

Choice 2 : John wants to leave the library.

By Ibrahim Husain Meraj [CC BY-SA 3.0 (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0)], from Wikimedia Commons

Explore first floor.

You decide to explore the first floor. John sighs and walks behind you, dragging his feet on the ground. You roll your eyes but say nothing. He came with you so you couldn't argue with him. Suddenly, you hear a noise, something unusual in a library. You turn around to look at John but he looks as surprised as you are. Behind him, there are books on the ground. Another one falls too. You continue walking and the faster you walk, the faster the shelves empty themselves. John screams your name : he is stuck in a pile of books! Do you rescue him or not?

Choice 1 : You leave John there and you try to find a cable or something.

Choice 2 : You take his hand and try pull him out of the books.

Bring the evidences with you.

You close the books and take them with you. As you close the one on pirates, you see a bunch of sticky notes. You start to read them and you realize that they are clues to find something hidden in the library. Is this hidden treasure is real?

Choice 1 : You throw them in the garbage. It's only sticky notes right?

Choice 2 : You keep them and follow the instructions.

Continue exploring.

Those books were probably returned last night and the librarian didn't have the time to put the in a bookcase. You decide to explore the first floor because you are bored with the reception desk. Which genre do you want to start explore?

Choice 1 : The documentary genre.

Choice 2 : The children's literature.

You are too curious.

You continue towards that light and spaceship's noises. You step on a blue open book. It's a sci-fi novel but you look around and you are in the documentary aisle. Suddenly, a weird thing appear in your face. It's an alien ! Another one appear. They take you by your arms and you can't escape from their grip. They are dragging you trough the light. You are trying to scream but your voice seems to have vanish.

Find a weapon.

You don't trust that weird light. You never saw it in the library ! How can you find a weapon in a LIBRARY??? You look around you and you can't find a book huge enough to throw at someone, if someone there is. Apart from the spaceship's noises, you hear two people mumble. You shout, "Hello?" but they don't answer to you. Aliens suddenly appear from nowhere and tease you with some electric weapon. You faint and you don't know what is happening to you.

Go in search of your book.

You and John are going straights to the reception desk.Maybe a librarian put it there since she knew you were supposed to come take it today. When you arrive at the reception desk, your book isn't there either. John suggests leaving because he's afraid of being caught by the police.

Choice 1 : John is probably right so you leave with him.

You leave John and try to find something to help to rescue him.

You tell John to try to remove the books that keep him from moving while you are going to find something to pull him out of there. You run around the children's section but you can't find anything. You decide to come back because you don't hear John screaming anymore. When you arrive in the aisle, John is lying on the ground, a hundred books that prevent him from breathing. The books stopped falling. John is dead.

You take John's hand and you try pull him out.

You try to remove the books that keep John to the ground. They are constantly renewing themselves so you just grab John's hand and try pull him out of that hellish pile of books. As a result of a superhuman effort, you fled together to the exit. You promise to John to never do stupid things like this again.

The first instruction is about the pirates' book. It says, "Find the sea and you'll find me. Argh!" You continue reading. The second one says, "Theft is the quietest job in the world. Come in handy and steal me the most invaluable object in the building." Finally, the third one says, "Once upon a time, there was a little kid who loved stories. Find the greatest fairy tale." You wander around the documentary section. Without a purpose, you just walk around and take books to smell them. You take a book about flowers and it smells just like in your grandmother's garden. You find another one about food and it smells delicious. You decide to close your eyes and pick a random book. You open it and smell it. You feel like there is a lack of air and you suffocate on the ground. Before closing your eyes, you read the title of the book : "The Deadliest poisons"

While you are reading, you can smell the perfume of the forest and start to see birds flying around your head. Finally, you hear the little girl humming though, you didn't see the wolf coming on your left until he growls in your ear. You turn around and you see the big teeth in its mouth. You only have time to feel pain before the life leaves your body.

He wants to go on the second floor again, maybe there is a book trolley with my Harry Potter book on it. Pirates.

The sticky note says, "Find the sea and you'll find me. Argh!" So, you have to find a pirate in the library? A light breeze touches your skin. It smells like salt water. You follow the smell and it leads you to the pirates themed novels. There is a beach with white sand and a ship. You hear a familiar voice, "Mr. Smee! I need my gold hook to finally catch Peter Pan!" You recognize Captain Hook from the Peter Pan fairy tale. You say to Hook, "Good morning Captain! I need to find the pirate who left that sticky note with the pirates' book!" He says that he is the one who needed to be found. He wants to go back to his story, in the bedtime stories book, but not now. He proposes his help and you accept. He tells you to go to the historical bookcases or stay a little while on the ship.

You turn around and you see nothing. You hear the soft sound again. This time, you lean your head towards the top of the shelves. There is a man on the top of the bookshelf in front of you.
