I now have to make the most important choice of my life. I have two choices, I have the choice to choose the university which could offer me a better job with a better salary, but it takes a couple of years to finish it. Or a DEP which will be faster and simpler than higher education, but with a strong chance of having a lower salary than the other choice.

Choice 1 : Go to the university.

Choice 2 : Do a DEP.

Now I have to choose which profession I want to study. There are three professions that interest me, but I don't know which one to choose. The first one is the doctor, which requires excellent skills and results to get the degree. Being a doctor, I could save lives and earn up to $500,000 a year. Then, there is the profession of teacher to transmit the knowledge to the new generation, the studies for this profession are less demanding and will allow me to earn approximately $95 000 per year. The last one is to be a lawyer. The studies are quite complicated, but I would earn about $200 000 per year to defend my clients.

Choice 1 : Become doctor.

Choice 2 : Become teacher.

Choice 3 : Become lawyer.

Do a DEP.

Now I have to choose what job to do. I hesitate between two professions. The first one is car mechanic which would bring me $28 per hour or about $50 000 per year. Or carpenter, at $34 an hour, but where the work is rarer in the winter.

A party is being held to decompress from our studies, but I hesitate to go since medical school is complicated, and I have an exam in three days. So, I have a choice between going to the party and having fun to decompress or using my free time to study and not falling behind in my studies.
