My accelerated life.

all roads lead to something

The biggest choice of my life.

So here I am, just in front of my choice courses for the next year. What should I do? I know that I want to work in the healthcare but I don't know specifically in what. In front of me, I can choose 3 classes between Biology, Chemistry, Physic, Sexuality, Economy, SN math and regular math. Which one should I choose?

Choice 1 : Choose Biology, regular math and Economy.

Choice 2 : Choose Chemistry, Physics and SN math.

Biology things

Choose Biology, regular math and Economy.

By choosing those options, I now have the choice to go at two College to start a technique in a healthcare program. I have already eared about a Radiation Oncology technique at Ahuntsic College but also, I eared about a Diagnostic Imaging technique at Dawson College. Where should I go?

Choice 1 : Go to Ahuntsic College in Radiation Oncology technique.

Choice 2 : Go to Dawson College in Diagnostic Imaging technique.

Einstein and Physics

Choose Chemistry, Physics and SN math.

By choosing those options, I know that I'll go at St-Hyacinthe College in Natural Sciences program to be able to go to university after. While I will study for 2 years, I have to work a little bit. I just see two vacant positions in a Jean Coutu group to be lab technician. They offer a full-time job and a part-time job. Should I go for the full-time or the part-time job?

Choice 1 : Apply for the full-time job.

Choice 2 : Apply for the part-time job.

Ahuntsic College

Go to Ahuntsic College in Radiation Oncology technique.

During my 3 years program, I know that I'll have to work to pay my personal things. Also, I will have to pay an apartment, my grocery and my bus and metro card to be able to go to school with no problem. I just see two vacant positions in a Jean Coutu group to be lab technician. They offer a full-time job and a part-time job. Should I go for the full-time or the part-time job?

Choice 1 : Apply for the full-time job.

Choice 2 : Apply for the part-time job.

Dawson College

Go to Dawson College in Diagnostic Imaging technique.

By going to Dawson College in Diagnostic Imaging technique, I will have to work a little bit to be able to pay for my apartment, my grocery and my bus and metro card. I will have to stay in Montreal for three years and I have to find a job for these years.I just see two vacant positions in a Jean Coutu group to be lab technician. They offer a full-time job and a part-time job. Should I go for the full-time or the part-time job?

Choice 1 : Apply for the full-time job.

Choice 2 : Apply for the part-time job.

Jean Coutu

Apply for the full-time job.

This could be a wrong choice for me. By working too much, I will not be able to finish my studies with great grades to by accepted to university or pass all of my courses. I should apply for the part-time job to have some time for me and some time for studying while I am at school.

Choice 1 : Apply for the part-time job.

Jean Coutu

Apply for the part-time job.

When I applied for the part-time vacant position in the drugstore they called me for a job interviewed two days after. During the interview, the pharmacist asked me if I had some experiences for the job. I answered that it was new for me and I really wanted to learn this job. He asked me if my studies were related to the job and I answered him:

Choice 1 : I am in healthcare program and I don't know what will I do after.

Choice 2 : I am in Natural Sciences to become a pharmacist.

Healthcare

I am in healthcare program and I don't know what will I do after.

Good new! They hired me last week after my job interview. I will start next week with an on-the-job-training to learn all the ropes of the work. I am now a lab technician. I will have to count some pills, answer to the phone, entered new prescriptions for the patients and lot more. I have 4 colleagues, and I am the newest one. They talk about me when I am back to them. Should I talk to the HR to explain my problems or should I stay quiet and ignore the situation?

Choice 1 : Talk to the HR.

Choice 2 : Stay quiet and ignore them.

Pharmacist

I am in Natural Sciences to become a pharmacist.

Choice 1 : Talk to the HR.

Choice 2 : Stay quiet and ignore them.

HR

Talk to the HR.

It was the first time that I have to talk with the HR. I was terrified. My colleagues put me aside and laugh for no reasons. This became sexual harassment when one of them tried to kiss me and followed me to my house. It's the first time that it happens in a job. Should I quit my job or should a I continue and ignore them?

Choice 1 : Quit my job.

Choice 2 : Continue and ignore them.

Stay quiet

Stay quiet and ignore them.

I didn't talk about this to anybody and it's stressful. Every time that I have to go to work, I'm afraid that I'll do something wrong. Furthermore, one guy tried to kiss me and then, followed me to my house. It's becoming sexual harassment and this should not be accepted by anybody. Should I quit my job or should I continue and ignore them?

Choice 1 : Quit my job.

Choice 2 : Continue and ignore them.

Quit

Quit my job.

This could be a wrong choice! I have to work while I am studying because I have a lot of things to pay.

Choice 1 : Continue and ignore them.

Be happy

Continue and ignore them.

I know that this could be a wrong choice but I have to work during my studies. Even if it's not a comfortable place to work at this time, I have to learn the ropes. DRING! DRING! Oh, the phone is ringing, all of my colleagues are occupied. Should I decline or answer to the phone?

Choice 1 : Decline the phone call.

Choice 2 : Answer to the phone.

Phone

Decline the phone call.

This could be a bad idea because the phone is ringing for a reason and my job is to answer to the patient. Although I am the newest employee and I don't know what I have to do when someone is calling at the drugstore. There's another phone call from the same person. Should I answer?

Choice 1 : Answer to the phone.

Answer to the phone

Answer to the phone.

Hell- hello, you-you are talking to Daphnee. How-how may I help you? The patient is asking me a question about his son that is sick. The pharmacist is very busy right now and the person on the phone seems very unhappy because it's the second time that he is calling. I don't have the answer to his question. Should I make him wait to talk to the pharmacist or figure out an answer to help him?

Choice 1 : Make him wait to talk to the pharmacist.

Choice 2 : Figure out an answer for his sick son.

Waiting

Make him wait to talk to the pharmacist.

The patient is very angry right now! He is screaming and he wants to submit a complaint because I didn't answer to his question. This could be the end of my job. I have to think very fast to make him understand that I will not be able to help him again if he doesn't change his mind. What could I say to him?

Choice 1 : Figure out an answer for his sick son.

Choice 2 : Told him that you will recall him when the pharmacist will be able to talk to him.

Figure out an answer for his sick son.

With the law, I can't answer to a patient when it comes to a disease or something else about pharmacist field. This would be illegal and I can't lose my job. The best thing to do is to take his phone number to give it to the pharmacist so he will be able to recall him.

Choice 1 : Told him that you will recall him when the pharmacist will be able to talk to him.

Told him that you will recall him when the pharmacist will be able to talk to him.

The pharmacist is very happy because I take some initiative with the phone call. He took my defense when he was talking with the furious patient. After his advice on the phone, he wants me to have a premium wage even though I am not here for a long time. I am so happy. My colleagues seem angry because I receive a lot of compliments. Sorry guys!

Choice 1 : Laugh at your colleagues.

Choice 2 : Ignore them and continue to do your best.

Laughing

Laugh at your colleagues.

This would be so immature! When it comes to a job, the ambiance should be nice and happy. I am not the kind of person that laugh to others and even not the one who does this to others when it happens to me and I didn't like it! I should just do my best!

Choice 1 : Ignore them and continue to do your best.

Number 1

Ignore them and continue to do your best.

This is the best thing to do! I am someone who always wants the best and I try to be a good person when it comes to difficulties with other people. Today, I am a lab technician in a Jean Coutu group and Ì like my job. My colleagues are nice with me, and I am happy with that!

Choice 1 : Start over and see where my life could go on a different way.

The End.
