Becoming a musician as a full time job is literal dedication to the music scene, and it is difficult to earn money and popularity. However, it depends on which style your band is playing. You love hard rock-metal, which is a genre that not everybody likes. You think that Pop could be another choice because there is a bigger chance of being known, but you do not like the genre. Which style would you choose? Hard rock – metal or Pop?

Work as a stage technician.

If you want to work as a stage tech, you got to do studies at a specific technique called : "Scenic Production." This program is on two years and there are summer sessions. You start the program, it is only given in Montmagny CEGEP, and you really like it. The only problem about this program is the difficulty staying focused and organised because it is rigorous and intensive. You must find some ideas to concentrate. What will you do? Will you do nothing to improve yourself or continue, and find some solutions?

Hard Rock - Metal, you have chosen your favorite path, it is difficult though.

You chose to stay in your comfort zone. That is a good choice, but it is difficult. It is because, when musicians start a band, they have a hard time gaining money, find venues and festival that can hire them and gaining attention. One night, you are playing at a bar and a famous producer see you playing. He comes see you and says that he wants to hire you in a record label. You accept immediately. Two days later, he asks if your band want a meeting with him and his colleagues to talk about business. At the meeting, the label offer you a chance to record an album. However, the boss, the man that saw you play live, has to approve the product before getting it out. But you are not sure to trust him. Will he change our style or are we going to keep our style? Will you accept the offer, or decline the offer? KillWins has to decide!

Pop, the cleverest, but you don't like it.

Even if you love metal and your band, you think to yourself that being Pop should not be that hard. You download a music software and buy yourself a nice microphone. To do you promotion, you are on all social media. One day, you had this really good idea and recorded it. You thought that maybe I should do a TikTok before releasing it. The next day, you woke up by a lot of notifications. Your TikTok blew up! What should you do? Post another TikTok or not re-posting ever again, because of the hate online?

Do nothing to improve yourself.

Unfortunately, you decide to do nothing. You decide to not improve yourself… you miserably fail your first session. You must find another path for another job. You eventually found a dead-end job that you can listen to music while doing it. You are still depressed because you can’t go back at that program… it’s the end of the road for you… Start again?

Find some solutions and continue studying.

You decide to find some solutions. The solutions you come up with are verifying your time watch of the TV or video games and staying at the library to do homework. You have chosen the good path. You are now passing your program easily with great grades, your summer internships are doing great, and you are one of the best students to have ever studied there. A lot of companies want you to work with them! Good job! Start again?

Your band accepts the offer. KillWins are recording the album and your bassist is always arriving late. You decide to kick him out of the band, without informing your band mates. When they are learning this, they kick you out and replace you with another singer. You guys decline the offer. However, your band is working full time, so you gain a little bit of money and by yourself a home studio. You post regularly on social media, for an album release, and a lot of fans discover you by an Instagram ad. You are becoming more and more popular, and you are even invited to do a tour with the famous, the legends, Airbourne. They are becoming good friends with you, and you are the happiest man alive. Good job!

You are teasing your first and new song on TikTok, and the people love it! 3 days later, you are posting it, and it brings you a lot of attention from other artists.
