Start at the beginning.

I am a student at Ahuntsic College in Youth and Adult Correctional Intervention. It is my second year, so I have one year left, and I intend to go to university in criminology or in law school, I have not decided yet.

Choice 1 : Go in criminology.

Choice 2 : Go to law school.

Go in criminology.

I finally decided to go to university in criminology. Yesterday, I went to my first class in the morning. At first, it was a really bad morning, I arrived late because of the snowstorm outside. My car wasn't working, so I had to take the bus, and I was so stressed because I had one of my biggest exams that day. When I arrived at school, I couldn't find the classroom where I was supposed to take the exam, so I had to call one of my friends to come help me. The University is so big, I always get lost. When I finally found the classroom, the teacher wouldn't let me in. I had to beg him, and he gave me the chance to redo the exam another day. After all this stress, I was thinking about the internship I did last September. I really miss it because I had a small glimpse of what my job would look like. I didn't have to deal with all those school problems. My coworkers were so nice, they would help me with everything, they helped me to learn the ropes of the job. Plus, my internship was paid, so I had a little bit of money on the side. I was a little bit overwhelming at first, but I got used to it! I had a great time.

Choice 1 :

Go to law school.

So, I decided to go to law school. I did four years at law school to have my degree, and now I am finally starting my first job in a small firm. We are not a lot in the firm, so everyone knows everyone which can be hard sometimes. On my first day, I started my on-the-job training with my trainee, and it was good at first, but then I started noticing weird things throughout the day. My trainee talked to me about the wage of the job, and it was pretty acceptable. He also told me about the bias of the job. After that, my trainee presented me to all my new colleagues at lunch. At first, I thought they were really nice, but later that day I heard them talking in the break room about the boss. They said that the boss was abusive with the women in the company. They talked about the time he actually harassed one of the lawyers. When I heard that, I immediately went to my trainee and asked him about it. He said that it was true but that we should not talk about it because it was not our businesses. I just went with it, but I told myself if he ever does this to me, I will not let him win me over...
