The beginning of my journey!
After I had graduated from high school, I had two different options for my future. First of all, I could try to go in Cegep of Saint-Jérôme in order to study in a field I would be interested in working in my future. On the other hand, I could work at CDE electric as an employee for the rest of my life.
Choice 1 : Studying in Cegep.
Choice 2 : Working as a Clerk in CDE electric.

At last, I finally reached Cegep! High school childishness was over. Many choices were laid on the table for my next play. The first option was to try the Natural Science program because I was someone with straight A's at high school, especially in chemistry and physics. The second option was to go instead in Social Sciences' program to ultimately become a physical education (PE) teacher. The final option was to take a break-year to travel and rediscover myself before undertaking my studies.

Working as a Clerk in CDE electric.
During the interview, the boss and I agreed that I undertook an OJT: On the Job Training making me learn the ins-and-outs of a warehouse clerk. After the few weeks, I started to come in handy for my colleagues and I encountered many drawbacks, but nonetheless I didn't give up, and I persevered my way through. At this moment, I could try to ask for a higher position to gain more money, or I could play safe and remained unhappy with my miserable wage of $17 an hour.

Natural Science program.
The first weeks had passed, and I was already overwhelmed with homework and evaluations. At first, I thought that my time management was the issue, but I finally realized that I would struggle way more I initially thought. In fact, I dreaded that I wouldn't be able to pull off my session because I had only reached the fifth week of my session's course. At this moment, I had three options: option A was to go see the Human Resources Department to ask about guidance. Option B was to leave the program and option C was to put aside my fear of failure and keep persevering.

Choice 3 : Keep persevering in Natural Science program.

At my surprise, I really liked this programmed, and I found out what my future career would be a Physical Education teacher at elementary school. Two years later, I finished the Social Science programmed and was ready to choose a University in order to undertake my bachelor degree. There were two choices: UQAM or Université de Montreal.
Choice 1 : UQAM.
Choice 2 : Université de Montreal.
Taking a break-year to travel and rediscover myself!!!
I knew I had made a great decision to undertake a break-year because my mind as well as my whole body needed it so badly. Since my childhood, I had two destinations that I wanted to visit before my retirement. The first one was Mauritian Island in the Indian Ocean and the second one was Iceland, the land of fire and ice!
Choice 1 : Travelling to Mauritian Island.
Choice 2 : Travelling to Iceland.
Asking for a higher salary.
The next day, I entered in my boss's office and asked him gently for an important raise, but he immediately laughed at me and said, ''If you aren't happy you can quit this dead-end job and find another employment with a better wage because your salary stuck at $17 an hour here''.What the hell?! I decided to remain silence and just leave the building and never come back. Do you really think I will remain at this job with what this pricks just told me? Hell not!!!

Afterwards, I scheduled a meeting with my orientation counselor for tomorrow. The next day, I went to the meeting, and I talked with the counselor about my hobbies and passions for an hour. At the end of the meeting, the counselor concluded that I undertook an internship as a janitor in McDonald's for the rest of my life. Well, that looks promising...

Indeed, I was very lucky that I succeeded to cancel my session without having any penalties in terms of grades. Unfortunately, I didn't feel to continue studying in Cegep, so I decided to go back at my work as a clerk in CDE electric.

Keep persevering in Natural Science program.
Despite all off my bests' endeavors, I fail miserably, and I became really maddening about the situation because I had done my best, but it wasn't enough to pass my classes. As my teacher said, " More often than not, I lacked too much intelligence for this nonsense".

Playing safe by waiting...
A couple years later, I had finally had been summoned to the boss's office, and I was convinced that would be about my raise!!! I went to the boss's office and sat in the armchair in front of him. He looked at me weirdly and said, "I'm sorry kid, but you are getting fired, and you can thank offshoring for it". I was completely DONE!

Travelling to Mauritian Island.
After taking a leave of absence from my part-time job, I bought my plane tickets for a two-week period, in order to visit the whole Island. Furthermore, I prepared my luggage and went to sleep. The next day, I went to the airport and flew to Mauritian Island. After a 20-hour flight, the plane landed at the airstrip. Hereafter, I passed the security check, and I was free to go! I took a taxi and asked the driver to drop me at the hotel nearby. An hour later, we didn't arrive yet, and I started to become nervous, but the driver said he was taking a shortcut. We finally arrived at an old cabin in the forest and the taxi driver pull up a handgun and said to remain calm and that was only a kidnapping and that I would never see the light of freedom again... Those people had crashed my vacations really hard...

Travelling to Iceland.
I was so thrilled to go to Iceland!I booked my plane tickets and my hotel reservations for a 3-week period and went preparing my luggage. The next day, I went to the airport and took my flight to Reykjavik, the capital of the country. After passing the borders, I went to the car dealership and rented a car to start my tour of island. During this tour, I hiked some marvelous volcanoes, I enjoyed the beautiful landscapes of the Fjords, but most importantly I saw the gorgeous Northern lights of Iceland's winter. At the end of my journey, I decided to remain in Iceland as a bum. At least, I'm a bum in one of the most beautiful countries in the world!

UQAM.
Regrettably, I didn't like my experience at UQAM, because the course was so boring, and I was just not matching with the the crowd. Then, I decided to drop out of UQAM.

Université de Montreal.
I completely enjoyed my four-years bachelor degree in education at Université de Montreal. Now, I could go on the working market and started my first in-depth job at an elementary school teacher, or I could try to accomplish a mastery degree to teach at Cegep.

After having my bachelor degree in my pocket, I decided to apply for an elementary school near my house. I received an email by the director which stated me that he was searching a physical Education teacher exactly what I wanted to become! Furthermore, I had many social advantages such as disease compensation, but above all a steady paycheck that allowed me to pay my house's mortgage. A few months had passed, and I felt that the drive of the work became too intense. I could be taken a burnout pause or simply quit my job.
Choice 1 : Take the burnout pause to rest in peace.

I felt miserable for the rest of my life. The only solution left was to remain on the unemployment check give by the government.

This break has allowed myself to refresh and be ready to start off again. Now, I could try to take the same group that last year or tried another group.

I completely forgot how my old groups of students were monster misconducting themselves all the time! I remained with this group for the rest of my unhappy life...
