I just obtain my high school diploma. I wasn't sure what to do next. Nevertheless, two choices were available to me.
Choice 1 : Continue studying at Cegep.
Choice 2 : Enter the job market.
I decided to continue at college in Mechanical Engineering, but I wasn't sure where to go. I registered myself at two colleges. The first one is the Lionel-Groulx College where all of my friends will be going to study Social Science because it is near our old secondary school, but they weren't having the exact program I was aiming for. However, the second place was the College of Saint-Jerome was having the perfect program, but I would need to do at least forty minutes on a bus every day to get to class, which didn't appeal to me.
Choice 1 : Apply to Saint-Jerome.
Choice 2 : Apply to Lionel-Groulx.
I was so bored with studying that I decided to find myself a manual full-time job to get lots of money instead of continuing to college.

I got accepted at Saint-Jerome in Mechanical Engineering. During the first few months, I was getting straight A's. In some of my courses, I did a cursory job. But because of my time management skills, my grades started to drop down at the end of the first session.

I decided to go to Lionel-Groulx, but I wasn't sure if I wanted to be with my friends in Social Science or completely on my own in another program related to mechanics just like Industrial Engineering. Choice 2 : Go in Industrial Engineering.
After 3 years, I got highly bored with always doing the same thing at the same place every day and decided to quit my job. I was also not able to find another job enough quickly and run out of money pretty fast. Now I'm homeless.

After several months looking for a job without success, I'm starting to think about continuing my studies where I left off.

After getting my college diploma, I decided to take a vacation to the beach. Over there, I relaxed so much that I started thinking about finding a job instead of going to university to become an engineer on my return. I was so exhausted from always studying.

The end of the session was near. I knew I was failing Physics, and that I would need to complete it during the summer to be able to finish my Cegep in three years.

After few weeks of school, I was already having bad grades a lot of trouble with many courses. In addition to that I wasn't feeling at my place in this field.

After the first year, I knew I was in the right place, but I found the program to be too theoretical and not very manual. I have heard that they were having the same program but way more manual at Saint-Jerome.

One year passed, and I complete my first year of university. As I explain, before, I have to choose my specific program of engineering after my first year. I'm not sure about the type of engineer I want to become. I hesitate between the cities and the mechanic profile.

My work was not hard, so sometimes I was doing some overtime. The only part of this job that was difficult was explaining the contract to the clients when they were only speaking English. Luckily, everything I learned in my college English courses was come in handy. My life was great, and I was having multiple breaks because of the office politics.

I decided to continue in this program. I also continue to get Straight A's in almost every class. Perhaps I wasn't wanted to go to university after all these years. I finish working as a technician for a big car company for thirty years. My life was repetitive but I liked it.

One year later, after sending request to too much company denying me, I decided to start a lucrative job as a dealer even if it's not good and illegal. Like this I was able to pay my rent and my food.

I was so disappointed with my grades that I didn't even feel like studying anymore. Instead, I decided to start playing video games on my full-time. I also started streaming and started to get got famous after two years. Money was entering slowly, but I was happy at the end.

The risks of my job caught me. I was arrested during an exchange with one of my clients. The judgment has just been dropped: life imprisonment.

Reflecting on my situation, I realized that I had to change. I also thought that I could share my experiences so these others wouldn't make the same mistakes as me. That's why I'm now a speaker, and I sometimes give interviews about my experiences.

I finish by being a Civil Engineer. I've done many projects in many countries, and I got a lot of money. However, I don't love my job but the fact that I'm rich makes me feel happy.

I know that this job isn't for me but on the other side, I spend so much money and time on these studies that I don't want to quit at this point.

My friends and I decided to take some good time relaxing and chilling at the beach. On of them brought some beers and some alcohol. Few hours three of them were completely drunk and started to fight. I tried to stop them before it was too late, but they punched me in the face when I interfered them. I finished at the hospital in the coma.

I was already having a mountain bike, so I brought it to the track. Perhaps, 2 of my friends were not having any, so they rent out some user at the shop. During the first hour we were climbing up the mountain and did a stop at the top. Before getting down, we did a checkup of our bikes, but 1 of my friends forgot to check his breaks. What we feared happened; he took too much speed and lost control while trying to stop. He hurt a tree and died. We were completely devastated.
