It was the end of high school, and I wasn't sure what to do next. Nevertheless, two choices were available to me.
Choice 1 : Apply to St-Jérôme College (CSTJ) in Natural Sciences and stop doing synchronize swimming.
Choice 2 : Take a year off since school is going to be online because of the virus.
I finally decided to go to CSTJ. I decide to put aside swimming to be able to better manage my time, and focus on my studies.
Choice 1 : It’s really hard to do online classes especially with all of my classes. I should extend my college career by a year to have fewer classes at the time.
Choice 2 : Continue my course in college normally even if it is very hard, and I can hardly follow anymore.
I finally decided to take a break from school! During this year, I will be able to focus on myself and bring back a little pocket money with a good wage job.
Choice 1 : After this beautiful year, I’m a little bored, so I’ll apply to the CSTJ.
I’m finally getting through this. I didn’t get straight A's all my course, but I gave it my all, and now I have a degree, and I have to apply to a good University.
Choice 1 : I have the choice to apply at the Université de Laval in Quebec City and to live in an apartment with my boyfriend.
Choice 2 : Or, I can decide to go to the University of Montreal, and travel every day to go to school.
I love the Laval University! It’s very beautiful here. However, my boyfriend unfortunately didn't got accepted with me and, so he goes to UQAM. I don’t know what to do anymore.
Choice 1 : I have a small room in residence, and I’m fine here. I decide to stay at this university, and then I will be able to come back during my school break. Plus, my boyfriend will visit me during the session.
Choice 2 : I think I’m finally going to decide to go to UDEM, even though I don’t like the city of Montreal. At least I would be able to see my boyfriend more often.
I’m finally in university! I’m excited to finally do courses related to what I want to do as work later. However, my car just broke in an accident, so I can't do the travel to Montreal every morning. What should I do?
Choice 1 : I'm in a dead-end if I continue my studies at UDEM. I'm not able to go to school, and I also don’t really like the structure of the courses here. I think I’m going to go to Laval University in residence for the next session.
It’s really hard to be away from my family, and my boyfriend, but I’ve already made a lot of friends, and I think I’m going to apply for a job to bring back some money in addition to what my parents give me every month.
Choice 1 : I could go work as a barista at Starbucks and get a regular wage, and be able to make as much free coffee as I want.
Choice 2 : Or, I could get a job with a premium wage, but I will have a OJT that will take a lot of my time.
I work every weekend. There are drawbacks to doing this work, but at least I have more money to go out with my friends, and have fun in my spare time. I’m finishing university in a year, and I have three profiles to choose from.
Choice 1 : I can do the Entrepreneurial Profile, which is to continue my studies so that I can work for myself and leave a company.
Choice 2 : Or, I can choose the International Profile where I will have to do internships at another university, and volunteered abroad.
Choice 3 : Or, I can choose the research profile that will teach me to produce a 12-page essay of historical character in relation to kinesiologist.
Yea! My best friend picked the same profile as me, but I think she’s getting something bad because she’s been acting weird for a while. What should I do?
Choice 1 : I should probably ask her what’s wrong.
Choice 2 : Never mind, she’s probably just sick, and then I have to focus on my studies.
Yuck. I didn’t understand what that profile was really about. I think I’m going to change.
Choice 1 : Choose a different profile.
Choice 2 : Start again.
I talked to her, and it turns out she wasn’t feeling as well as I thought.
Choice 1 : I should focus more on my study profile.
Oh, no! My friend’s notes are going down. Should I have talked to her? Imagine if she had witnessed a thief or if she got treated by a predator.
Choice 1 : I should probably go talk to her.
I finally managed to get my university degree! I can now go to apartment with my boyfriend since he also finished his studies. What’s the next move?
Choice 1 : Start my own kinesiologist company.
Choice 2 : Work for an existing company, and get work experience before undertaking anything to hard.
It’s really hard to start a company with so little work experience. I have trouble finding clients, and I don’t even have a real office.
Choice 1 : I should have chosen the other option to gain some experiments.
I work in a small massage therapy clinic, and my boss does a lot of favoritism with one of the employers since she’s his daughter. In addition, she's withholding important information for herself in order to be better than us. I should...
Choice 1 : Stay here because at least I'm going to learn the ropes of this job
Choice 2 : Flee this office politics, and work for another employer.
Some people start undermining the boss’s daughter, and they tell me about it during the breaks.
Choice 1 : I think I’m going to change clinics, I don’t like the hassle here, and I’m afraid of getting sucked in this office politics.
I like a lot more the ambush here. In addition, my boss lets me choose my work hours and the patients I want to take. On the other hand, I think one of the employees is flirting with me, and I already told him I had a boyfriend.
Choice 1 : I’ll just ignore him for now, and keep doing my job.
Choice 2 : I’ll try not to work the same hours as him to get away from him.
I was finally able to leave my own company. My girlfriend helps me manage my finances, he takes care of everything that has to do with money. I'm finally doing what I’ve always wanted to do, and now, I can start planning my retirement.
Choice 1 : I think I’m going to retire at the age of 50.
I’m at the end of my career. I decided I’d retire at 50, so I could travel and have fun while I still can.
Choice 1 : Start again.
