My Pharmacist path

University Choices.

I am a full-time student at Montmorency College. I have been studying Sciences for three semesters. After graduating from college, my intention is to obtain a professional doctorate in Pharmacy. This year, I have to decide which university I want to go to.

Choice 1 : The University of Montreal.

Choice 2 : The University of Laval.

Montmorency

The University of Montreal.

I'm overjoyed that I've decided to attend the University of Montreal. I was dead set on getting straight A's in all of my classes. I read my books with great care and attention. I would never have passed my final exams if I had continued to ignore my assignments and my annoying habit of skipping breakfast. My time management skills assisted me in avoiding procrastination. I finally earned a professional doctorate in pharmacy after four years of hard labour. I'm not sure what I'll do after I finish my studies.

Choice 1 : Work for a Local Pharmacy in Montreal.

Choice 2 : Start My Own Pharmacy.

Work for a Local Pharmacy in Montreal.

My first day as a pharmacist in charge has begun. I'm quite enthusiastic. During my schooling, I worked as a trainee for four years. It allowed me to study the ins and outs of the industry as well as practical skills while earning a living. My first day is less stressful because to the practical information I've gathered over the last four years. While finishing my coffee, I enter the pharmacy with a large smile on my face. A doctor calls five minutes later as I walk to the restroom. Before making a decision, I pause for a few seconds.

Go to the Restroom First.

I suppose the doctor can hold the line for a few minutes. I will not be gone for an extended period of time. Furthermore, my assistant claims that the call is not urgent. I did a good job of taking the time to use the restroom. I return to the pharmacy section a few minutes later. The doctor begins yelling at me as soon as I pick up the phone. He's enraged at me for making him wait. Before responding, I take a long breath. When I make doctors wait, they frequently react in this manner.

Choice 2 : I Explain to Him Politely and Calmly the Situation.

I Yell Back at Him.

I respond by screaming that I was in the restroom. I also express my displeasure with his impatience. His incomprehension irritates me to no end. My assistant gives me a surprised expression. I recognise I'm reacting excessively. Before calming myself, I take a deep breath.

I am pleased that I have chosen to study at Laval University. Despite the fact that I am far away from my friends and family, I enjoy the academics here and have made new acquaintances. I finally earned a professional doctorate in pharmacy after four years of hard labour. I knew I could complete all of my courses with minimal work and sacrifice. I had to put my phone and other distractions aside in order to accomplish this. I'm not sure what I'll do after I finish my studies.

Teaching future pharmacists is a great honour. After class, a student informs me that she has been the victim of sexual harassment by another student since the beginning of the semester. I quickly consider the harmful consequences of sexual harassment for the victim. She then goes on to express the terror she is feeling. She also feels tired, humiliated, and has trouble concentrating. While she is telling me all of this, I am thinking quickly. What can be done to safeguard this young woman and hold the criminal accountable. Finally, I decide to assist her as much as possible.

The pressure of work forces me to pick up the phone and call the doctor. It is almost always an emergency call. Almost everything is put on hold for the doctor. I have an obligation to answer the phone if I need to use the restroom and a doctor calls at the same moment. This has the disadvantage of requiring me to set aside at least thirty minutes for my personal needs.
