My first job.

Where should I work?

As I was getting older, I wanted to make my own money to depend less economically on my parents. I needed to find a place to work. I had two places that I wanted to try working at. RONA and coop Ahuntsic. Eventually, I had to make a choice.

Choice 1 : Work at coop Ahuntsic.

Choice 2 : Work at RONA.

Money

Working at coop Ahuntsic.

I was a trainee when I started working at coop Ahuntsic. The bias of working at coop Ahuntsic were more negative than positive. I did not have a premium wage, minimum. In fact, I was paid the minimum wage. I started working OJT, witches was quite an efficient way to learn. BY this method, I learned to be a cashier, and to help customers to find books, pencils and scholar material. The drawbacks of this job were that it was boring, and I was standing all day behind my counter, it was quite exhausting at the end. I quit because it was boring, not paying sufficiently, but I gained a lot of experiences. After working at coop Ahuntsic, I wanted to try a new work, which one is the more appealing?

Choice 1 : Work as a teacher.

Choice 2 : Work in psycholgy

coop Ahuntsic

Working at RONA.

When I started working at RONA, I liked it. My coworkers were nice, and I worked with friends too. I was doing OJT, it was not always easy to remember every little detail when I was a cashier in this peculiar store, but I could sit on a chair at my counter which was quite pleased. I worked at a minimum wage, but it was okay because I kind of liked my job, so it was not a real drawback for me. I was a trainee at first, but with the time passing I became the manager, and I could control in an efficient way the store so every worker and customer would be happy. After working at RONA, I wanted to try a new work, which one should I choose?

Choice 1 : Work in psychology

Choice 2 : Work as a teacher

RONA

Working in psychology.

Now that I found a way to make money at RONA, I want to focus more on my future career, I want to be a psychologist. What interest me in this domain is more precisely the cognitive psychology. Cognitive psychology is the study of mental processes such as attention, language use, memory, perception, problem solving, creativity and thinking. All of those factors push you take decisions that other people wouldn't do at your place. For example, you found a wallet on the street; would you take the money and give only the wallet back to the owner? Would you give back the wallet with the money? Would you take the money and trow the wallet in a bin? Would you leave the wallet on the floor like that whit out even touching it? Make your choice.

Choice 1 : Take the money, give the empty wallet to the owner.

Choice 2 : Give back the wallet with all the money in it.

Choice 3 : Take the money, leave the wallet on the floor.

Choice 4 : Don't take the wallet at all.

Working as a teacher.

Now that I gained the amount of money working at coop Ahuntsic before I quit, I want to focus on my future career. I am interested in becoming a teacher. I like to tech things to my sister or my friends, so I think it would be an appropriate career for me.

Choice 1 : Start again

The wallet.
