I just got my high school diploma. I had already stopped going to school because of the pandemic, but I still managed to get good grades in all of my classes before they got canceled. Next year I will go to college but must admit I am a little confused about what I want to do in the future or what college I even want to attend.
Choice 1 : Go to Montmorency College.
Choice 2 : Take a year off to work.
I got admitted in natural sciences. The main drawback of this choice of program is my lack of skills in time management. I find it very hard to deal with everything at once, even though I work very hard to get straight A's. I am wondering if I should put aside that program and focus on courses that could be easier for me.
Choice 1 : Stay in the Natural Sciences program.
Choice 2 : Change to Commerce.
I could take a year off to focus on myself and work to save some money. I do not know if I should get an internship at my mother's pharmaceutical company for a good wage to fulfill a vacant position or if I should sign up as a trainee at the Canada Revenue Agency to learn the ropes and the ins-and-outs of the job. In either way, I could get a recommendation for both workplaces since my mother works for one and my father works for the other. In both cases, I would need OTJ, on the job training, since both jobs are very specific.
Choice 1 : Work for my mother.
Choice 2 : Work with my father.
Even after many years of hard work, I discovered that I actually do not like sciences and could not get into any universities.
Choice 1 : Start again.
I switched programs, and it was the best decision I have ever made concerning school. I got good grades, and I even had time to go out and enjoy life, without getting sucked up in bad things of course.
Choice 1 : Start again.
Even tho this job is amazing for certain people, and I loved working with my mother, that was not my type of job, and I do not think I would work in a science field related job again.
Choice 1 : Start again.
I loved working for the CRA! I think I could see myself working here for a long time even when I finish school.
Choice 1 : Start again.
