I would like to become a lawyer. Universities require approximately a Cote R of 30 and above in order to get into Law’s program. Getting a Cote R of 30 is not the easiest thing, especially when you are studying in a Technology. If I want to reach my goal of becoming a lawyer, I will have to make an important choice.
Choice 1 : Focusing on getting good grades.
Choice 2 : Prioritizing my social life.

My studies are really important to me. In order to pull of straight A's at school, I need to do a lot of time management. Otherwise, getting good results, and keeping track with all the courses is harder. Good grades come with perseverance and practice. I have always taken school very seriously thorough my studies. Though I listen well in class, I will always take the time to study before my exams. I will also priority doing my homework before any other hobbies. I will be able to achieve a Cote R of 30 and above by taking these tactics in practice all along during my Technology.
Choice 1 : Working while studying.
I will try my best at school and do my best during exams, but my priority number one is my social life. I would not miss on a party, even if it is happening the night right before of my exam. I don’t think that I should spend more time on homework than time with my friends. I am good at school, so I don’t need to change my priorities to get a Cote R of 30 and above.
Choice 1 : Travel the world.
While doing my studies, I will have to choose a student-job. I would like for my job training to be an on the job training. OJT is a very useful way to learn a job. It has many advantages. You can have a wage at the same time as being a trainee. It is one of its main biases. It is beneficial for both the employee and the trainee. However, one of its drawbacks is that they can be taken less seriously by some employees. I did an OJT once, and it is a really good and productive way of learning. It makes you learn about all the ins-and-outs of a career. OJT can prepare you for future jobs by gaining experiences. You can basically learn important things about your job, it gives an advantage to you. The only thing about working while studying is that I should never have to putty studies aside for this job. I still need to prioritize my studies as my number one priority.
Choice 1 : Prioritizing my work relations.
I have a good professional relation with my colleagues. I never had any trouble or issues with my past colleagues, nor did they have any with me. I have never been in a dramatic situation while working. I have never gotten sucked up in office politics either. They have never undermined me or have been hindering with me, it also goes the other way, I have never hindered my colleagues. I worked for more than 2 years in my past, precisely in two last jobs. It is useful to avoid getting sucked up in problematic situations, just as colleagues withholding important information to get good teamwork done. More often than not I find myself being a positive leader in my work environment. Since I excel so much with my work relations and office politics, I will start to priority work more than my studies.

I prefer traveling then studying. I would really like to try volunteering abroad. I used to travel a lot before COVID. I could be a very good volunteer. As much as I could give a lot, volunteering has a lot of advantages that could help me to grow as an individual. It gives invaluable and unique experiences. Instead of wasting time working in a dead-end job, volunteers get a purpose and learn in-depth about themselves. Instead of being skeptical, people should give a shot to volunteering abroad. When I went to Costa Rica, I learned a lot about this country and hoped I could help some of the people there. With volunteering, I could accomplish this wish of mine. I volunteer all around the world for a moment, then I will get back to studying after feeling satisfied with my volunteer and travel experiences. These are my new priorities.
Choice 1 : Career as a surfer.
After a lot of consideration, after traveling the world and volunteering, I will not go back to studies. It is such a big waste of time. Instead, I will pursue my truly dream, I will become a professional surfer in Costa Rica. Since I had done some surf courses there, I already know some professionals that could help me become one as well. Being a professional surfer is the way of living life. Plus, my astrological sign is Pisces, so I think this is proof that being a professional surfer is my destiny, being and working in the ocean is where I belong.
Choice 1 : Starting my surf business.
Nowadays, they are many small businesses. Owning a small business is a great accomplishment that gives people the opportunity to be in a more power position towards their career and colleagues. With time, work has become more of an obligation in order to live than being a hobby or even a passion. Having to work as an obligation can make some feel powerless or feel a lack of contentment towards their lives. I had a student job when I was fifteen years old that made me feel fulfillment because of the autonomy it gave me at this time, and every job should be worthwhile and make us feel this way, not the other way around! Thereby, I decided that I should even start my own surf shop where I will sell surf and ice cream! How original, unique and fun. This is my new goal and priority.
