My career as business man

Give this section a short title.

Hi, my name is Teli Joe Bonaventure. I have been studying at Montmorency College for the last three years in Business Management. I learned many things in this program like the marketing activities, how to sell products and services by way of representation, to develop the sales area of a retail store and many more things. This program is really useful to me because in the future I want to be an entrepreneur or maybe work in a customer service company and gain experience until I manage to be responsible in the company. This semester is my last one, and I have been accepted to one university, the University Of Montreal, but I am a little bit confused about should I start working first since I was doing a technique or go to a university.

Choice 1 : HEC of Montreal

Choice 2 : Work a company.

College Montmorency

HEC of Montreal.

I intend to register at HEC Montreal for a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Indeed, the choice that I made at CEGEP Montmorency joins my intention to go into business. However, I have the choice to start working for RBC of Montreal or start investing in real estate.

Choice 1 : Start working for Bank royal of Canada.

Choice 2 : Start to invest in real estate.

Heh of Montreal

Start working for Bank royal of Canada.

I met the staff of RBC during the future job fair organized by the university, and then I gave them my CV after they contacted me later so that I could work for them. At the end of my study in Business administration at HEC of Montreal, I start working for them as customer service. I passed three months as a customer service then six months as cashiers then afterwards I become a banking service advisor. While working in this position, I started to think in a different way, I received lots of entrepreneurs who came to negotiate loans and their story was very interesting. I felt that I was not financially free and the drive of work was a lot that why, I started preparing for another activity. I stayed in this position for a year, and a half and I submitted my resignation to the bank.

Choice 1 : Restart

Bank royal of Canada

Start to invest in real estate.

I decided to invest in real estate first by buying apartments to rent out. I bought my first property which was a building with 6 apartments. I was lucky to be able to negotiate with the bank and obtain my first loan without a down payment and a fairly low-interest rate. I spent two years managing my apartments, I had very good tenants who paid on time, and I never had a problem with the bank. After two years, I renegotiated my apartment with the bank, I added a good percentage of fonts and this allowed me to have my second building with 12 apartments. I think it was the best thing to do for my investment in real estate because it allowed me to have more money, and build my retirement to have more free time.

Choice 1 : Restart

Real estate

Work a company.

After my three years of studies in business management, I decided to apply in several companies. After my research, I was hired by Canadian tires in customer service. After 4 months of experience, I was promoted to customer service manager. I spent 10 months working in this position where I had regular contact with the sales section, and I took the opportunity to apply internally as a sales representative. After two as a salesman. I decided to quit and go do something else. I think that was the ins-and-outs of my career even tho my wage was very great, I feel like I was working in a dead-end job because my goal and my purpose were going far away that why I end up quitting my job.

Choice 1 : Return to the University.

Choice 2 : Give this section a short title.

Work for an company

Return to the University.

I registered at the University of Montreal to do a bachelor's degree by accumulating certificates including operations management, and human and administrative resource management. Then in the meantime, I started my car rental business, and I managed to have 24 vehicles to rent while I study. I came to the conclusion that being an entrepreneur makes it possible to work better instead of having a fixed salary for a given period. This experience was really come in handy, I learn the ropes by just starting my business and studying at the same time.

Choice 1 : Restart
