What should I become?
My thoughts.
I just finished secondary school, and I applied to Ahuntsic College in Springboard to a DSC. I choose this program, because I can explore a lot of different things and see what attract me more. All my life I thought I knew what I wanted to become in the future, but there are lots of possibilities, and it's an important decision to make.
Choice 1 : Becoming a lawyer.
Choice 2 : Becoming a nurse.
Becoming a lawyer.
From far as I can remember, I always wanted to be a lawyer. Defending people and some of them can have been victims of sexual harassment. The only thing that can block me is that my grades should be straight A’s, and it's super difficult.

Becoming a nurse.
Working in health care always attracted me because you never get yourself bored, and on top of that you save lives. I also like the fact that being active during work time. When you're OJT it can be hard sometimes because there are lots of things to do at the same time, and you never know when an emergency will come. It's a hard work but the wage is worth it, especially during the pandemic.

Success or fail?
If I'm being honest with myself, I know that I'll not do a great lawyer, because I will lack of a lot on things. I am too emotional to defend a criminal and in this job you should not pick a side, and you should put aside your feelings.

Fear.
Working in an environment where there're contagious diseases, see blood almost every day and risking my health is something that I fear. I also don't want to work overtime and put aside my personal life.

Human Resources.
In the eventuality that I fail trying to become a lawyer, I will consider working an HR. Human resources attract me, because I'll be in charge of a lot of things like the trainees, hiring people, the income of my employees, the management and more. Having my office and a charge under my responsibility is my style.

Some task.
Working in human resources can be nice, but there's a lot to deal with. For example, I should be aware of the time management for the recruitment, do a background check on the potential workers, having a goal to achieve with my team, be sure that the office politics are respected. On top of that, I'll have to pay attention if there is no flirtation on work time, because it's not professional.
