I am a paramedic. As a paramedic, I am the first medical professional on the scene of an accident or sudden illness. I can give immediate care for heart attack victims, car crash victims, gunshot victims, medical illness, and much more. I can even assist a childbirth. I have the obligation to take safely the sick or the injured to healthcare facilities in my equipped emergency vehicles. At medical center, I transfer the patient to nursing personnel and report my observations and treatment. This morning, I pack all of my stuff for the day, and a little lunch. I enter in my car and I go in the direction of the barracks. After approximately ten minute, I am at work, ready to go in my ambulance. I look if a have all the supplies that I need for the day. I am ready to go. Already, my partner and I have a call. The dispatchers tell us that it is for a male, laying on the ground. We turn on the lights as well as the sirens, and we go to the scene of the accident.
