My journey to becoming a dental hygienist.
A new begging.
High school is finally over, and I'm exited to enter college. I want to study in dental Hygiene, but I didn't do my prerequisites' courses in High school. I apply at Montmorency College in an Orientation program to get the prerequisite that I needed. After the first session I finally had all the prerequisite that I needed, and it was time to apply to the dental hygiene program.I had two choices in mind either I went to Maisonneuve College or I could go to Edouard-Montpetit College.
Choice 1 : Go to Maisonneuve College
Choice 2 : Go to Ahunstic College
The first step.
I got accepted at Maisonneuve College. I am so excited, class starts at 8 a.m. The teacher started explaining what we plan on learned for this session. The first lesson is on the health of the teeth, I learned about the important of flossing, what toothbrush is better to use and how often patient should visit the dentist to get their teeth cleaned. One of the students is laughing in the back it's very annoying.

A complicated internship.
The first semester is over, and now it times for the internship to start.I am overwhelmed because mistake or not accepted. At least I wasn't the only intern in the office two of my classmate are here. I had to do a cleaning on an old lady. First I took an x-ray of her teeth to see if everything was okay and then a started the cleaning. Everything is going well the lady is satisfied with her teeth and she left. One of my teammates come see me and say's that she broke an instrument she asked me what she should do.

The results.
The internship as come to an end. It was a bit stressful, but I made it, and now I have to wait for the result to find out if I passed. 10 days later the results are in, and I passed the internships :).

I turned around and told her to shut up. The teacher was very mad she told me to get out of the class and wait for her till class ended.She said that my attitude was unacceptable and that I needed to apologize to the class.

My classmate decided to listen to my advice, and she told the dentist.He wasn't mad at all and event told use that it normal to make mistake he was happy that the student told him.

Trouble in paradise.
The dentist find out that an instrument was broken, and he made a meeting with all the interns.He said, " The person that broke the instrument need to come forward or ells everyone is suspended from the training.At the beginning, nobody spoke but after 5 minutes my teammate said that it was her. Unfortunately she got kick out of the program.
