The Little Girl Named Emma

Four Hours...

We are on December 20 and the plane takes off in 4 hours. I just finished my suitcase for our trip. My family decided to take that trip before my dad on the job training (we hope). My mother, meanwhile, helps the twins finish their suitcases. My father is already outside removing the snow from the car (it helps him with his stress). My mother just called me to come help her with the twins. I wonder if I should go help him, or I'm just going outside to help my dad.

Choice 1 : Ugh Mom

Choice 2 : Hi Dad! You Need Help?

Trying to close my suitcase

Ugh Mom.

When I arrive in the room, my mother is the only one packing the suitcases. She told me that she sent my brother and sister to get dress knowing it was going to take time. After helping my mother, I'm going to go help my father outside.

Choice 1 : Go help my father

My mom paking my brother and sister suitcase

Hi Dad! You Need Help?

When I go outside, I realize that my father has almost finished removing snow from the car. In order to make myself useful, I decide to get the suitcases so that my father can organize them in the car.

Choice 1 : Suitcases Here I Come.

3h...

While I bring the suitcase to my father, my mother and the twins come out of the house. They settle in the car. My father and I will meet them in the car a few minutes later. Now is the time to say goodbye to my house and see you in two weeks. The airport, here we come!

Choice 1 : On our way to the airport

Trying to cary every suitacase we need

2.5 hours.

On the way to the airport, I realize that I forgot my headphones. I don't know how I'm going to survive this trip without my headphones. That means I'm going to have to listen to my brother and sister arguing all the way to the airport. We are 15 min home. I wonder if I should ask my dad to come back home, even if the plane leaves in 2.5 hours.

Choice 1 : Ask my dad.

Choice 2 : Forget it. It's not the end of the world.

On our way to the airport

Daddy Please.

I kindly ask my dad if we can go home because I forgot my headphones, but my mom answers for him and says no.

Choice 1 : Finally arrived at the airport.

NO

Finally arrived at the airport.

We finally arrived at the airport. We put our suitcase in the right place, and we sit down and wait for the plane.

Choice 1 : Cute boy alert.

The airport

Mexico, were we come!

When we arrived in Mexico we moved into a small house that my parents had rented and which is very popular with tourists. This little house is part of the hotel, but it is very popular with everyone because it is more private. We've been in Mexico for 4 days now. Every night after dinner I go talk to the cute boy I saw at the airport. He came to talk to me, and we became like friends. I don’t know what the odds are that we end up in the same hotels, but I find it very neat. Today is Christmas Eve and my parents have left my brother and sister in the little houses because they're sleeping. After leaving my brother and sister in the little house they returned to the festivities because it is Christmas Eve.

Choice 1 : Christmas Day

The little house

Cute boy alert.

As I sit I realize that there is a boy who looks like my age, and who I find quite cute. He's also waiting for the same plane as us. I wonder if I should go talk to him or not.

Choice 1 : Forget it

Choice 2 : This is my chance.

The boy

This is my chance.

I got so excited that I scared myself. It's not my style to go talk to strangers. So I decided it was better not to go.

Choice 1 : Mexico, were we come!

I am so dumb

Mom? Is everything okay?

During the evening my father and my mother alternate every 30 minutes they go to see Emma and Alex. Since our little house is very close to where we are, it never takes a long time. It's now midnight, so it's Christmas Day, December 25th. Now it's my mom's turn to go and see if Emma and Alex are okay and if they haven't woken up. A few minutes after leaving my mother comes running back with Alex in her arms.

Choice 1 : Where's Emma.

Mom in panick

Where's Emma?

This is the first time I have seen my mother in such a state. She is crying and she is in a panic. My father is trying to figure out what is happening. There is also hotel rescuers coming to join us because they can clearly see that my mother is not well. My mother then explains to us that she can no longer find Emma. When my father understands what my mother has just told him, he runs to the little house to see if my mother had made a mistake and if Emma wasn't playing hide-and-seek. He comes back a few minutes later running. He goes directly to those responsible for the party to inform them of the situation. The hotel staff and all of their clients are helping us find Emma. While we are looking for Emma the local police arrive.

Choice 1 : Bad News.

Everyone looking for Emma

When the police arrived they immediately help us look for Emma and even call for help. After 2 hours, the police inform us that this is not the first time that children have been mysteriously abducted from hotels. They tell us that there is child trafficking going around and our best chances of finding Emma are in the next 48 hours, or it may be too late for her. I really want to help my parents find Emma, but I'm so tired and so is Alex. So, the cute boy and his parents advise me to go and sleep in their hotel room with Alex until the research progresses.

Choice 1 : Alex I'm going to help mom and dad.

Choice 2 : Accept to go sleep in Nicola's room

Police officers

This trip was supposed to be a vacation for my dad and all the family. My dad has a super important job interview in January that could change everything for us. I hope he's going to get the job.
