A quick decision has never been a good choice.

Hi everyone, my name is Lea Touma, and I am 22 years old. In this hypertext narrative, I would love to share with you my long story which started in the fall 2018 and has never finished. When I graduated from high school, I decided to go to Ahuntsic College in the field of Natural Sciences. With the passage of days and months, and after several attempts trying to succeed in Physics and Chemistry, I discovered that it was the fastest decision I made in my whole life and maybe the worst. I lost an entire year of my academic career in a place I don't belong to, and then decided to change my program. I am currently studying Social Science at Ahuntsic College, and the next semester will be the last one. I really try to focus on my final exams which end in 4 weeks to get good grades and go to university in peace. In a few months I have to choose which university I am going to continue my studies at. The surrounding people may think that this decision is easy to make, but they don't know that it is too difficult to choose the place where you are going to finish all the studies of your life. However, we must not forget that grades influence our future career. An R score can allow me to be accepted to the program that I want most at the University of Montreal or Laval or on the contrary, to be refused.

Choice 1 : I am going to apply for admission to the University of Montreal.

Choice 2 : I am going to apply for admission to the University of Laval.

Choice 3 : Apply in finance.

Choice 4 : Apply in psycho-education.

I am going to apply for admission to the University of Montreal.

I would be very happy if the University of Montreal will accept me because it is one of the very strong universities in Canada. Moreover, I don't have to leave my parents, my friends, and my job to move to another city. The quality of the teaching is very good, it is the most financially accessible while offering many activities and resources for students, and I can simply continue my studies in French. This university requires a high R score compared to other French universities in Quebec.

I am going to apply for admission to the University of Laval.

It is not the preferred choice for me because the University of Laval is far from Montreal, it is in Quebec City, so it will take me almost 2 hours to get there. Leaving Montreal and moving to Quebec City is much better, but I have to get away from my surroundings and live on my own there. Being accepted at this university is less difficult because it accepts an R score which is lower than that of the University of Montreal.

Apply in finance.

My first choice is to apply in finance. I see myself very successful in this field because I like everything related to accounting, investments, and banking negotiations. Balancing budgets, managing the social and personal aspects, guaranteeing legal and regulatory obligations, processing financial information, and providing advice to department heads and general management are all tasks that interest me in my life.

Apply in psycho-education.

My second choice is psycho education. I see myself a lot in this field because I have all the qualities to become it. I really enjoy working with people who need a person who can understand to them and who can solve their difficulty and their problem. The only thing I don't really like is that at university I have to write a lot of text and analyze it.
