School choices.

You are about to begin choosing your university program for next year. With the pandemic, your last year has been crazy, you didn’t really have the time to look at university programs and pamphlets. These days you are really tired, and you lack motivation. Knowing you want to continue being creative during your next year, you hesitate between taking the year off or going to art school to possibly be a teacher.

Choice 1 : Art school (bachelor’s degree in visual arts).

Choice 2 : Gap year.

You are now registered for the bachelor’s degree in visual arts! How exciting! The first 2 years are extraordinary, being among other artists makes you so creative and motivates you to go to school. Your grades are good, you have straight A’s and are top of your class. Your projects are special and colorful, you always give a thorough work and the teachers love it. You are even thinking about submitting your projects for an art contest. But just before finishing school, your friend abandons the program to start a small business and, she asks you to join her. This business could be a foot in the door for some possible contacts in the world of art. It is certain that it would be hard at the beginning but in the end, you would have the opportunity to make money out of your creativity. Should you abandon school to be a small business owner, or should you continue and finish your program?

Gap year.

You decide to take a year off and that is alright, the past year has been difficult for you and you deserve some rest to clear your head and make a better choice for the next year. For this year, you can either choose to get a job at the local fruit store or take some time for yourself to relax and take things slow.

Small business owner.

You start your small business with your friend, and you are really invested. You pour your heart into your work each day. You and your friend often work super late to be ready for the grand opening of your website. A day before the opening, you realize that your name is not on the official logo, you go and verify that your name is still on the contract. Your friend’s name is there, it says on the contract that she is the sole owner. She stole your ideas and got away with it legally as if you were never part of the company. You got played. You feel powerless. You now cry yourself to sleep every night.

You continue to study in your program and finish first of your class. You then want to choose a job that will allow you to stay creative and connect with people. You decide to start a major in education to become an Art teacher. You hesitate between teaching in high school or elementary school.

After finishing your major, you apply for a permanent job at your old high school, there is a vacant position. The headmaster recognizes your name on the application letter and call you for an interview. When you come in for your interview, you notice your high school has not changed that much in the past few years and it makes you nostalgic. You feel overwhelmed with memories. You then meet with the headmaster and you pull off the interview. You are hired! You start working shortly after the interview and after a few weeks you know all the ins-and-outs. This is the start of a good career.

Elementary school.

After finishing your major, you apply to a private elementary school, there is a vacant position. HR call you back for an interview, you are thrilled! When you come in for the interview, the headmaster hires you after a 5-minutes talk. You are skeptical but you need a job, so you do not question it. After a week of work, you realize why the previous teacher left, the kids are a nightmare. Should you stay or should you quit?

Get a job.

You get employed at the local fruit store and work there for 6 months. You learn the ropes quickly and know all the codes for the different fruits in no time. Your on-the-job-training is not long. You even become good friends with some of the employees there. You want to make money to rent an apartment next year and this job has a lot of advantages. You work part-time, and this allows you to go out at night with friends, you missed that a lot during the pandemic. But a new manager position opens at work, should you take extra shifts to apply for the position or should you continue to go out at night?

Take some time for yourself to relax.

You decide not to take a job and take time for yourself. But you don’t know what to do with your free time. You start doing yoga while watching tutorials on YouTube. You stretch every morning and buy yourself “Lulu lemon” leggings with your parent’s money. One day, you see an advertisement for a cheap vacation to Cuba and think that you deserve a break from all the school pressure. Should you continue yoga at home, or should you travel abroad to go on a vacation?

Go for the manager position.

You decide to take extra shifts and work overtime at your job but you become exhausted. You don’t sleep anymore and soon become alienated with work. You stay positive and remind yourself that with that manager wage, you will be able to afford a more luxurious apartment. When the new manager is chosen, you realize that it is not you. You are so frustrated that you come back later at night to pour gasoline all over the exterior of the store and then set it on fire.

Continue to go out at night.

You decide to continue working part-time to be able to go out at night. One night, you go to a bar with your friends and become friends with nice girls. You dance all night with your friends, and you feel free like you never have before. It has been a long time since you could go out. At the end of the evening, the girls invite you to another bar to finish the night. You can either go with them or go back to your house.

Choice 1 : Go with them.

Choice 2 : Head back home.

They bring you to a bar where they are dancers. They introduce you to the manager and want to get you employed to be a dancer. They say that with the tip, you would make a lot more money than at the fruit store. You are not sure to accept, but after a few drinks you start dancing on the stage and win a lot of money. You take the money and go home; you now know that you are going to keep working at the fruit store.

You come back home and sleep, that’s it.

Yoga.

You decide to stay at home and start investing yourself in the yoga community. You practice every day and become better at stretching. You start doing “Tik Toks” where you try new yoga positions and discover that people really like you! You become an influencer and do sponsored collaboration with yoga clothing brands. You decide to do the job full time and abandon the idea to return to school.

Travel abroad.

You decide to take the cheap vacation and leave your parent’s home for two weeks. Once you arrive in Cuba at the cheap hotel that the vacation companies provided you, you have the choice between going to the restaurant down the road or go hiking with the vacation group.

Choice 2 : Go on a hike.

Restaurant.

You go to the restaurant; it’s been 6 hours since you ate because they didn’t sell food on the plane. You are starving. You choose the first taco place and order fish tacos. Immediately after finishing eating, your tummy starts to hurt, and you feel nauseous. You vomit all over the place and pass out. You are so sick that the airline puts you on a plane back to Montreal.

Go on a hike.

You decide to go on the hike despite being hungry, you have to see the country to make you feel better. At the beginning of the hike, you feel a bit nauseous and almost pass out. A handsome stranger in the group helps you drink water and get back on your feet. Once you are awake and better, you start flirting with him. He asks you on a date, should you go or turn him down?

You and he fall in love and at the end of the vacation he brings you back to his Los Angeles’s home, which is gigantic. It turns out he is handsome and super rich. You become his wife and then become super rich.
