A new beginning!
This is it, you are finishing with your years of CEGEP, and an important decision is ahead of you. What will you do next?
Choice 1 : Apply to the neuroscience program at the University of Montreal.
Choice 2 : You are pretty undecided about your future, you can take a sabbatical year explore your possibility and then go back to school.
Starting University.
Congratulation! You have been accepted to the neuroscience program. Today is your first day at school, but you were so nervous, last night, that you couldn’t fall asleep, and you wake up LATE this morning. When you got to school for your biochemistry class, the professor had already start talking. There are only two places left, where do you sit?
Choice 1 : Sit next to a student in the first row.
Choice 2 : Sit at the back of the class.
A new way of life!
You need to find a job to keep some income coming. Sadly, there isn't much interesting or stimulating job offer.
Choice 1 : You still apply for the cashier job at the supermarket for now, you really need the money!
Choice 2 : You prefer to keep looking for a job in a field that could interest you.
The student life.
You are having a great time at university, you made some friends and you’re enjoying your experience. In your neuroanatomy class, you have the choice to do the laboratory in a theme of two or by yourself. Bob, the student who you sat next to on the first day of school, suggests that you form a team. You have been overwhelmed lately, being in a team could reduce the work to do, but you don’t know if Bob is reliable.
Choice 1 : Accept bob suggestion, less work is always better.
Choice 2 : Refuse bob suggestion, you prefer working on your own.

You didn’t have the best grade in your laboratory, but you sure made a good friend! Time flies by and you already finish your bachelor's degree. You have received a proposition to become an intern at the Institute of Neurological Disorders. Though, your good friend Bob is taking a year off to meet up with some friends and has asked if you would like to join him.
Choice 1 : Go to Asia with Bob and his friends, you will have the rest of your life to work.
Choice 2 : Take the internship, you can’t miss on that opportunity.

Well-maybe, bob wasn’t that reliable! His friends were part of a cult that you got sucked up in… You have made the wrong decision.

While doing the manipulation of the laboratory on your own you accidentally put Sodium Bicarbonate Co transporter, a toxic component, in your eyes. You have made the wrong decision.

The session is coming to a term and you’re not sure if you want to finish your study in the neuroscience program. You feel like this program is a dead-end because you’re realizing that you’re not interested in the employment it led to. On the other hand, you feel like you are ingrained in this program since you already started, and it could be worthwhile to complete it in the long term.
Choice 1 : Complete your bachelor's, you can always keep on studying once you finish it.
Choice 2 : Change your bachelor's to go in the Art History program.
Life-long career.
You finished your studies and got offered a job as a behavioral scientist. However, you feel there is a lack of fulfillment in your life, you’re missing a sense of purpose. Even though your job offers a great wage and compensation package, you feel like it is drudgery. You are doing a burnout.

It has been 3 months since you start working at the supermarket. You still look from time to time for new job offers but you are unmotivated. There are still some positive aspects to this new lifestyle, you have much more money and time to party than your friends who are going to college. A week later, your dreams were crushed when you learn that the dread man was a perpetrator that bribed and steeled from you. You are now without a penny... You have made the wrong decision.

You have finished your studies in art history. You have written for the art section of a journal as afoot at the door job and then open your own gallery. Congratulation you had a successful life!
