You are about to finish college and it was the most stressful and unpleasant experience of your life. It is now time to choose which program and which university you will attend. Since you did not like the Health Science program at college, you decide that it will be in your best interest to avoid anything related to health care. You decide to stay on earth and pursue engineering; you are happy with your decision as you feel that it is truly your passion. Also, you know that you will not have a dead-end job and you will have a good wage. But now you still have a choice to make. You are hesitating between two majors civil and electrical. You know that electrical fits you more. In one hand, you want to please your father and follow in his footsteps and become a civil engineer. But in the other hand, you also want to follow your heart and choose the career that interests you the most and will give you purpose.

Now, you are doing the trials to become an astronaut. So, you dedicate all your time and energy into training and learning, and nothing can stop you. You overcome the challenges with excellence and you are named an astronaut. One day, NASA contacts you and offers you to participate in a Mission to Mars. You feel like you should go because it is a lifetime opportunity and the chance to make your dream a reality. But the people closest to you warns you that it is very dangerous because Mars is very far and it had never been done before.

You decided to put aside people’s opinion and to do what you truly want. Your father is a bit overwhelmed but respects your decision and your bond is stronger than ever. Following that decision, you attend McGill University because you believe that their intensive laboratories will make you one of the best in the field. After your first semester, you are ingrained with a lot of knowledge and you are starting to learn the ropes; you understand the use of most components of electronic circuits such as wires, power supplies, resistors, diodes, and capacitors. You are offered an internship for the following summer. It is a major opportunity for you because you have the chance to put a foot in the door and gain in-depth experience. But the past semester was very difficult, and you had trouble with time management. You feel like you need a break and escape from the drudgery. Perhaps a vacation trip with your friends.

Suddenly, a non calculated event occurs... Your rocket ship gets hit by an asteroid. Yet, because of inertia and kinetic energy, you still manage to pull off a landing on Mars. The spacecraft’s engine and its internal circuitry have suffered serious damage so you cannot go back to Earth. You eventually run out of oxygen and the Martian air is not breathable, so you die. Start over.
