It's September and it's the beginning of the new semester. You are studying at Ahuntsic College in the Prehospital Emergency Care technique. You have always been interested in this CEGEP program and you are excited to start the new fresh year of school. During the summer, you finish your test drive, you took your vaccines and now you are ready to go. You are looking forward to the new scholar year, but what is your intention towards the new semester?

The first month of the semester was insane. You have met so many incredible people and have made memories for life. On the other hand, your lack of study and taking school seriously made your grades horrific and you only learned cursory of your courses. But it isn’t too late, because on Monday you have an important exam in your Human anatomy and physiology class. Will you take the weekend to study or will you just improvise during the exam?

You tried your best to pull off straight A’s during the semester and you succeed. You put aside all of the distraction to get a thorough comprehension of every matter. One day, one of your classmates proposed to you to go on a volunteering trip. What is your answer?

Choice 1 : Refuse his offer, studying is more important.

Choice 2 : Accept his offer, volunteering is a good opportunity to learn an invaluable lesson.

Study for the exam.

Though you study all weekend, the exam was more difficult than you were expecting. You pulled off the exam with an average grade of 60%. It’s better than what you thought you would get, but deep inside you know you could have done better with a little bit more practice. In a couple of weeks, the internship will begin, you are not ready for it. You are stressed and you just want to cry. What will you do?

Choice 1 : Doing your best and hoping to survive the internship.

Choice 2 : Giving up.

No worry, you will just improvise during the exam.

It is the day of the exam. You enter the classroom, sit at a free desk, read the questions of your exam and you realise that you know none of the answers. So, you improvise and you are the first one to leave the classroom. After the exam you realise the disadvantages of not studying because you get yourself a grade of 24% in your Human anatomy and physiology test. After, you realise that you can’t live your youth while studying at school. Then, you choose to leave your program to live your life to the fullest.

After a thoughtful night, you are still skeptical about the utility of being a volunteer. Then, you decline the offer and focus on studying. Couple of weeks later, you start your internship. In your first case, you have your first patient, but the guy doesn’t seem to go well. What should you do?

A couple of weeks later, all of the volunteers met at the airport and got up to the plane. Everything was fine until the plane had complications, the pilot lost control of the plane and it crashed down. Bad luck! You have died in a plane crash.

Doing your best and hoping to survive the internship.

You tried to convince yourself that you were ready for the internship, but you weren’t. During the first day, you rapidly realise that you didn’t learn the ropes of the work and it was a major drawback. During your first intervention, you completely panicked and ran off the ambulance. You never came back and you failed miserably.

Giving up.

Your anxiety took over your determination and your will to succeed. You leave the program and never return to school. Then, you find a dead-end job at the Dollarama store at minimum wages and work there until you retire.

One day, your good friend Billie offers to go on a trip abroad to the country with her, but you hesitate because your other good friend Ethan already offered you to go to a rave party together on the same day. Both of these options are tempting, but you need to make a choice. Also, it could be a good occasion to become closer to that friend. What will you do?

Choice 2 : Pack my bag and go travel with Billie.

The man is having a heart attack. You are using all of the ins-and-outs you learned during your class and during your other internships. You do a chest compression on the man and you manage to stabilize his condition. You just saved this man's life. You will become a great paramedic, that’s for sure!

Wait to see what happens.

You wait to see what will happen. The patient seems to be having problems, but you don’t have the confidence to do something. Your colleague sees the man’s condition and tries to save him, but it’s too late, he is dead. You feel horrible and keep reminding yourself of this experience. Weeks later, the psychologist is diagnosing you with severe depression.

Go to a rave party with Ethan.

The night was amazing! The music and the ambiance were awesome, you will never forget this night and the first kiss you had with Ethan at the end of the show.

You both leave the country and go traveling to France. The trip was amazing and you finally confirmed your feelings with Billie. When you come back home, you realise what you really want. You sell your little apartment and all of your belongings and buy a boat with Billie.

The next day, Ethan invites you to his podcast on Youtube to make a review on the performance you just assisted. You have a really nice time participating in the podcast and you realise that this is what you want to do in the future : becoming a Youtuber!
