The beginning.

I have been studying Accounting and Financial Management for 2 years now at the College of Maisonneuve. I am graduating next year and I don't know if I will start working straight away or if I should go to university first.

Choice 1 : Go to university first.

Choice 2 : Start Working directly.

ESG University.

With this University choice, I have the option to have some of my courses in English and other in French. This is what I was looking for. Improve my English but at the same time have balance at the level of both languages. Three years later, I graduated and here I am on my way to a beautiful and long career.

Choice 1 : Work for the best firm in Montreal.

Concordia University.

I am really proud of my choice for this university because it opens doors for me in a new world. All of my lessons will be given in English and this will allow me to better understand the language and perhaps become perfectly bilingual. Now that I graduated four years later, I must now start my career.

Choice 1 : Work for the best firm in Montreal.

Go to university first.

Now comes the difficult choice of choosing which university I would like to continue my studies at.

Choice 1 : Go to ESG University.

Choice 2 : Go to Concordia University.

Start Working directly.

Now, that I have made the choice to stop my studies here, I have to make a rather difficult decision. I have to make up my mind and know if I should start my business or start first by going to work in an already existing business.

Choice 1 : Start my own business.

Choice 2 : Work in a firm.

I started my little business. Unfortunately for me, I encountered a lot of difficulty along the way. I even got to the point where I asked my parents for help with money because I didn't have enough to continue. And it hurt me, I didn't want to depend on my parents anymore, one of my goals was to make them happy too. Here I am now with only one option. To start all over.

Work in a firm.

I ended up getting hired by a company. I told myself that I was going to stay there for a few years, the time to learn the ropes of all accounting and finance. But I was still looking for this financial freedom despite everything. I still ask myself questions. I tell myself that there are several other possibilities at the same time. I was wondering if I should be starting my business at the same time as the job I'm in, continuing to have cash flow, or just continuing to work in the same business for the time being.

Choice 1 : Start a side business.

Choice 2 : Continue working at firm.

Side Business.

Wow, it's amazing my income has increased so much. I am so happy, this side business allowed me to have a second entry of money in addition to my daily work. And on top of that, my business is going really well. But I still have to make an important decision anyway.

Choice 1 : Quit my job.

Choice 2 : Stay at the firm.

Continue working at firm.

The days were long, there were always a lot of transactions to do, as well as the financial statements of the company, reports here, reports there.

Choice 1 : The end.

Financial freedom...my dream.

Everything is going for the best, it is a dream that comes true at that moment. I didn't think I would get there, but with all the work done, I am here.

Stay at the firm.

After already a year, I was starting to find myself in a boring routine. It was really like a dead-end job. I was starting to get a little bored. And in all that I also did overtime.

Choice 1 : Restart

The best firm.

I had learned a lot from my internship and knew that my experience as an intern in this company would be useful. I did not regret my choice for this company because the employees were fantastic, I had a good salary, the HR team was really amazing. Even during my training, they supported me and helped me in my beginnings. And when I was hired, I saw interns coming to do their internship and it brought back many memories in connection with my internship days that I had to do as well.
