Starting my college.

I just started my College in Social Science. I would like to be a lawyer but I don't have a lot of motivation.

Having fun.

The school is important but my friends too. I won't have time to do my homework because I watch a movie on Netflix and my friends wanted to go to a party. My courses were boring, so I used to play and talk to my friends on my cellular phone. I'm not very surprised that I felt some courses and that I didn't receive my diploma. If I want to be a lawyer, I will have to go back to College other years.

How to succeed at Ahuntsic College.

First of all, if you want to do well at college, at least, you must assist to every course and listen to the teacher, like I did. For my part, I am not shy and I asked all the questions that I need to be sure to understand the subject of the course and I took very good notes. Even If school can be maddening, I applied some discipline and pulled off my cell phone. After that, to verify if I still understand very well, I took the time to do my homework during the evening. Also, I used to do my reading to be prepared and I follow my time management for the next course. The most important things to do well at school, is to be relaxed, to have a good sleep, to be prepared and stay concentrated. If you follow my advice I am certain that you will do well at school like I did, though don't forget to put aside any distraction during your study time and you will go straight A's towards success.

Volunteering Abroad.

After my College, I did a trip abroad, in Cuba. I went there for the experience of voluntary work. We were 25 volunteers. I did not receive any wage for my voluntary job. I passed all my day to help a family at the farms with the animals and at the plantation. I met some friends over there that I am still steel in connect with. The experience was fantastic and I would like to do it again for the advantages. I recommended it to all students who can do it, even if I was a little bit skeptical at the beginning. The only disadvantage was that my family was not with me. At the same time, the purpose was learning Spanish who could be good for my future career and to learn about another culture. The experience is invaluable.

On the job training.

By the bias of a friend, I started my OJT with my colleague Antony at the IGA six weeks ago. He is an experiment grocery clerks with an experience of two years. He is a great trainer. I have only been his trainee for two days and I learned all the ins-and-outs of the job. With him by my side, I mastered the concept of the job and the client services. For example, he helped me to know the place each item in the grocery. I really appreciated this person but the only drawback that I keep is that he quit the job, 2 weeks later my OJT. At that time, I really enjoyed this profession even if the wage was not enough but not for all my life.

Now I have to start my studies again. A second time, it's even more difficult. I don't know if I will persevere or return to the work market. I should have taken my studies seriously from the start.

My dream job.

Now that I have finished university, I have been able to become a famous lawyer in a well-known Montreal law firm. I love helping people stand up for their rights. I have a good salary and I do what I love. I will have a nice retirement at 55 years old. I am really happy that I took my studies seriously.
