After 5 years studying youth and adult correctional services in College Ahuntsic, I am finally reaching the end. The only thing I have left is my final internship. I have a couple different places I could go to complete my final internship, but I don't know which one to choose.
Choice 1 : Doing my final internship in a high school as a T.E.S
Choice 2 : Doing my final internship in a halfway house for male criminal

While on my final internship in the high school, Kevin, a 14-year-old living there, got into a fight at school and broke another student's nose. He is suspended for 3 days, but he doesn't seem to understand why. He keeps saying that the other student was bullying him from the beginning of the year and that he was just defending himself. You can't choose between punishing him for being aggressive and rewarding him for defending himself since you know teachers don't do anything about bullying.
Choice 1 : Punish Kevin for getting into a fight
Choice 2 : Reward Kevin for defending himself
I am doing my final internship in a halfway house for hard criminals. One day, I caught Roger, one of the residents, doing a line of cocaine in the bathroom. But in his correctional plan, Roger can't consume any type of drugs, or he might go back to jail. Roger knows that I saw him, and he asked me to keep it secret between me and him.
Choice 1 : Snitch Roger
Choice 2 : Keep it secret for Roger.
I decided to punish Kevin for his bad behavior, so I am hesitant between making him write an apology letter or confiscating his phone for a week. If I confiscate his phone, he will surely be mad at me. But he might write a letter without believing what he wrote in it.
Choice 1 : Ask Kevin to wrote an apology letter.
Choice 2 : Confiscate Kevin's phone for a week.
I decided to reward Kevin for defending himself, but I don't want to be too obvious. I am not supposed to encourage this behavior. So, I must tell him that I am proud without making him think that violence is the option.
Choice 1 : Tell Kevin that he did good this time but he shouldn't hit people for nothing and this can't become a way to resolve conflicts
Choice 2 : Tell Kevin that he was great and that he must punch really hard for breaking the guy's nose.
Roger was sent back to jail, your life in the halfway house continues and goes very well. One day, your boss came to you and told you he might retire sooner, and he thought of you to replace his position. If I accept, I will have a better income but I will not be able to have a lot of communications with the residents since it's mostly office work.
Choice 1 : Accept your boss offer
Choice 2 : Decline your boss offer

If you decide to snitch him after all this time, they might fire you for not telling his parole officer, but they might do too if they ever find out that you let him do that for a couple weeks.
