The night auditing exam...

School started a month ago and my first exam is very close.

It's been a month I started school. My first exam is getting closer and closer. The subject is going to be about night auditors and the teacher told me to study hard for this one because I'm not the type to have straight A's. In order to succeed, I need to concentrate.

Choice 1 : I keep my phone close to me.

Choice 2 : I lock my phone somewhere else.

reception

I keep my phone close to me.

I need to keep my phone close to me... it's necessary. What if I get an emergency call? What if someone tags me on a picture where I'm not looking good? Or maybe I'll need it to use the calculator or add some stuff to my calendar.

Choice 1 : A stupid move to keep my phone close to me.

Choice 2 : I had to work all night instead...

phone addict

I put aside my phone.

I'm not an example to follow to do well at school, but I’ve spent enough time studying to understand one easy step that can make a difference. My biggest enemy is my cellphone. I make sure my phone is locked away in another room, and if temptation is to big, I just throw it through the window. So yes, when it comes to studying, my best way to make time management is to put aside my phone, as simple as that.

Choice 1 : A great study session!

Choice 2 : I'll do the least to pass this class.

lock the phone

A stupid move to keep my phone close to me.

As I said, keeping my phone got me distracted, and I ended up studying only a third of the class content. I didn't sleep well this night. I can't remember my dreams but I'm pretty sure they were about night auditing. The exam is in ten minutes now, I'm feeling anxious about the amount of work I'll have to do.

Choice 1 : It's exam day.

Choice 2 : Trying my best to succeed.

I had to work all night instead...

Instead of having a great sleep before this stressful exam, I had to study all night... You understand why, we've all been here one day. When you put your cellphone in your pocket and tell yourself, "Ok, you're going to rock this in 4-5 hours and go to bed early.", but instead you pull off your phone after 2 minutes and navigate in thoughtful but useless quotes on tumblr.com.

Choice 1 : What I learned in my OJT?

Choice 2 : The whole night pays off!

night shift

A great study session!

I had a great study session yesterday. I made myself a small space in a room without any cursory things and could concentrate. This way, I was able to go through the whole class content and even if it were maddening, I managed my way thorough. I pulled off my phone once to set a time every one-hour, to make sure to have a small pause of 5 minutes each hour. Now let's take some rest! Tomorrow is exam day.

Choice 1 : Is it really exam day?

study room

I'll do the least to pass this class.

This Night Auditing class isn't my asset at all. I'm not used to work on a computer and learning this night auditor app looks harder than flying a plane, every time I feel overwhelm. I'm pretty sure I'm going to crash on this one. At this moment, I wished my professor was corrupt and I could try to bribe my mark, or maybe my infiltration skills could come in handy and I should commit the biggest crime ever : the theft of an exam!

Choice 1 : Bribe the teacher!

Choice 2 : Infiltrate like Tom Cruise.

It's exam day.

Today is exam day. As I'm trying to reply to the first question, I thought of something completely different. During my youth, I had the chance to volunteer with an association of social reintegration of young former prisoners. The advantage of having worked with them allowed me to see that I was extremely lucky to have grown-ups in a wealthy environment. The little disadvantage was that I wasn’t paid, but this would not be volunteering if I was. Before my first day, I was skeptical top work there. I was a bit afraid because I had this wrong idea that former prisoners were bad peoples. It turns out they were incredibly nice and benevolent. Now I can’t really volunteer because I’m running out of time, but I’m considering volunteering abroad in a near future because I loved meeting people with a different outlook on life.

Trying my best to succeed.

Today is exam day. It's started 10 minutes ago. I was skeptical about the content of it, but I realized the questions with the highest grades is in my advantage. Even if I didn't study everything, I know I can succeed in this class and become a great night auditor. Because I learned the ropes of it, I would be able to have a foot in the door during my first internship!

What I learned in my OJT?

I'm really tired this morning. My mood isn't good at all, You can see on my face I'm grumpy and my own thoughts are deterring to me. As I dread of my capacities to do this exam, I remember of my last OJT (diminutive of on-the-job-training). No doubt, I'm in big troubles because I can't remember what I learned during this time.

OJT

The whole night pays off!

I did well during the exams! My ins-and-outs will reward me! I can see myself last night having dumb bias about night auditing. Working all night was actually cleaver because I did the same shift as a night auditor! Now I know what it is and I can prepare myself to be a good trainee.

Is it really exam day?

I woke up a bit late this morning. I made myself a small coffee, ate some fruits and took my bicycle to arrive earlier in class. During my ride, I test drove what I learned. It is certain I will do great. But when I arrived, the school felt strange. I walk in the main entrance where it's normally packed with students, and when I'm in front of my classroom, I realized there's no light. I checked on my Omnivox and understood today was a holiday and that the exam was next week... Ain't going to complain, I'm the perpetrator of my own deeds and my lack of concentration is at the right recipient.

Bribe the teacher!

I went to the casino a few weeks ago and won two grands. So, I had this idea to do as much as I can during the exam, and slip 500 dollars with a note saying, "Please I need to pass this class". The next day, it didn't go well at school...

Infiltrate like Tom Cruise.

I went to school today and did some spotting. I waited for my professor to leave is class during the 5 p.m. pause and I put a piece of cardboard in the door lock so that it wouldn't close properly. I waited at school until dark and went into the class, rummaged through the drawers and got my hands on the exam. I took some pictures and discreetly pretended to leave from the library. The next day, it didn't go well at school...

What happened after this hindering?

I knew it wasn't a great idea to do this... I did not see the camera in the classroom, so the security saw me and the administration judged that I hindered the college rules. Unfortunately they fired me.
