Well, you are finally here. You are done with college. Those two years went quickly. You always liked movies. You even developed an interest in making them. That’s why you decided to graduate in Art, Letters and Communication - Cinema option. During these two years, you learned how to use a camera, how to record sound and how to do editing. You can already do your own movies. You learned all the basics on what to do. So, what are gonna do next? Shall we continue your current path in the film industry and get a Bachelor's degree in communication (media creation - cinema). There is also a 1-year class just for screenwriting called a certification in cinematic screenwriting. You could just give up with school and get a job. You could also do nothing. It’s your life after all.
Choice 1 : Bachelor's degree in communication (media creation - cinema)
Choice 2 : Certification in cinematic screenwriting.
Choice 3 : Becoming an independent filmmaker.
Choice 4 : Do nothing (No school and no job)

You managed to get selected in the program. You are extremely lucky. There's only around 30 places per Universities and not that many universities have that class as an option. You better cherish the next three years to come. Since this course takes 3 years, you will do something different after some time. First year, a continuation of college, you will continue to learn the basics on filmmaking. Second and third year, you choose a specification. You can choose filming to learn the ins-and-outs of the camera, editing to learn how to do editing to the best of your abilities or the sound to learn how to record sound like a pro.
Choice 1 : Focus on camera work.
Choice 2 : Focus on editing.
Choice 3 : Focus on sound.
Screenwriting it is. You are one of the few peeps in your class. That's quite normal. Not to many people want to be screenwriters. You could consider yourself special, you are one of the few who wants to be a screenwriter, and they are needed to make a movie. For the next year, your only task will be to write one script. What will you write a fiction or a documentary?
Choice 1 : Write a fiction.
Choice 2 : Write a documentary.
Choice 3 : Not write a script
The least recommended option. You will need some luck to succeed. Since you have no certification or diploma, big studios won't work with if you don't show them that you have skills that rival someone who has gone to school. Since you have the basics, you can still do your very own movies with your own film crew. You won't have a budget from the get go. You can use your own money or use crowdfunding.
Choice 1 : Use crowdfunding.
Choice 2 : Work with studio.
You said to yourself, "Yeah I don't need a job or to go to school, might as well stay at home all time, what is the worst thing that could happen?" Well, the worst thing that could happen just happened. Your mom is giving you 3 choices. You can go back to school, get a job so you can start paying rent or get out of her house.
Choice 1 : Bachelor's degree in communication (media creation - cinema).
Choice 2 : Certification in cinematic screenwriting.
Choice 3 : Become an independent filmmaker.
Choice 4 : Leave the house
You are now homeless. You lost everything you had. Your family doesn't want to help you. You don't want to go back to school. You don't want to get a job. Not that you can get a job anymore. You don't have an address you can write on your CV. You probably don't have any friends so who's going to help you now. Maybe, you picked the wrong choices in life. Would you like to restart your life or do you want to stay in this path? It's your choice to decide.
Choice 1 : Restart life
You tried to use a crowdfunding. Being that you did not do anything that was mind-blowing during college, people were kind of skeptical about giving money. So, in conclusion, your crowdfunding was a failure and everyone who gave money got refunded. Will you continue to make movies or give up?
Choice 1 : Give up (restart 1st choice)
Choice 2 : Make the movie anyway
You failed class. What happened? Did you do your homework? Did you forget to study? You probably had a problem along the way. Well-now, it's too late. You did not manage to get those straight A's. Very far from it. So far from it, I'm going to remind you that you failed at school. In the movie industry you need that license to make movies with big studios if you don't have the fame to compensate for it.
Choice 1 : Back to the first choice
Writing your own fictional stories are kinda easy. Except when you have a massive writing block. Don't worry how many of them you got while writing your script, just say to yourself it was easy. Now it's time to decide. Will the production of your script be done just by yourself or do you want a studio to get involve?
Choice 1 : Use crowdfunding and do the movie alone
Choice 2 : Work with studio.
You decided to make a documentary. It's very different from writing fiction. You can't very planned the answers you will find or the way some of the answers will influence how your documentary will go. That is if you make an interview focused documentary. If you choose to go with a documentary that goes for a subject with a lot of information, you can make a line on how your information will be shown.
Choice 1 : Work with studio.
Choice 2 : Become an independent filmmaker.
You decided to work something out with a big film studio. Yeah, that's right, you when with TVA to see if you could make a partnership. They give you money and you get to make your movie. Here's the catch, they want you to change your script to be more marketable. Will you accept the condition or do your movie without them?
Choice 1 : Make the movie with the studio.
Choice 2 : Make the movie as an independent director.
You chose to learn the ins-and outs of the camera. You learned everything, what a certain angle means, light composition, why the film camera is better than the digital, yes you truly learned everything you could know. After, those three years you became a director of photography. You have sufferer the most therefore you get the biggest paycheck among the film crew.
Choice 1 : Back to the first choice
You went with editing. You got to be a masochist. You are now gonna become the glue that is gonna hold the movie together. You are the needed by almost everyone. You will have to learn the editing software like the palm of your hand. Every menu, every small correction you will be the one who will have to do it. Only on rare occasion will you work with someone so you have to be prepared to work alone.
Choice 1 : Back to the first choice
You decided to study sound. Some may think of you as someone who's useless but fear not. A movie is made of both image and sound so you are important. After graduation, you worked on a lot of movies as a Boom Operator. You worked on a lot of movies and gain quite the sum of money.
Choice 1 : Back to the first choice
After a few rewrites of your script, you finally could start filming. It's a bit easier when you have a team of artist who help you, but changing your script was kind of let down. It wasn't 100% your vision. But, hey, you made what hundreds of filmmakers would like to do but never have the chance to. Your movie is out now. Congratulations! You made it.
Choice 1 : Restart life
You made it, you took your script, roll out the camera and did what you want to do. Even thorough the hardship you had the confidence to finish the movie and at your vision. You have to be proud of that, not to many directors will have that chance.
Choice 1 : Restart life
