Life as a student.

Choose your cegep.

I am currently in my last year of high school and it's time to choose what are we going to do next? I always wanted to go to cegep and then go to university. However, I don't know witch cegep I should go to. All of my friends are going to Cegep Terrebonne because they live there, but I don't. I don't necessarily want to go at the same cegep of the rest of my classmates. I really want some changes. What should I do?

Choice 1 : Cegep Terrebonne

Choice 2 : College Montmorency

Choice 3 : Cegep Lionel Groulx

Depression.

I decided to follow my friends at Cegep Terrebonne. The first year, I had a lot of fun, but I needed to wake up early and drove threw all the traffic. I was desperate and decided to quit. I ended up working at McDonald because I was depressed.

I received my result from the cegep Montmorency and Lionel Groulx. Cegep Lionel Groulx refused my application and Montmorency accepted it, so I decided that I'll go to College Montmorency. I am happy to go there because it is easy with the bus to go there from my house. I think the two years there will be just fine. In the future, I would like to go in an apartment in Montreal or Quebec for university, so I really need to get a job and save some money. I will apply at Harvey's and Place Bell. If they both take me, where should I work?

Illegal activity.

I got accepted at Place Bell! Last week, I did my first OJT at work. We were tree trainees at the OJT. We learned how to use the cashier and the scanner correctly. I learned a lot during the 3 hours of training. However, there was some drawback, because the trainer was an old employee, and he had difficulty with the new program, so I felt like I wasn't ready to use it alone yet. Yesterday, I asked my manager some help, and she gave me the ins-and-outs about my cashier. Then, I understood everything by using some part of the first OJT and my manager's help. After working a month there, I learned that my manager was doing some illegal activity. He was selling drugs in the Place Bell. One day, the police arrived and arrested him. From now on, the Place Bell is now closed.

Choice 1 : Try again

Working at what cost.

I got the job at Harvey's! I decided to work there because it is an easier job than at the Place Bell and it is the same salary. However, I had some problem at work. My boss came to my table at lunch and began to give me a massage. I told him I didn't want him to give me a massage, but he continued. I deterred him to stop. He never listened to me. I was so afraid to lose my authority and I dreaded what was coming next. He started to kiss me on my neck, and then I started to yell, so everyone could hear me. My boss finally stopped. We heard someone knocked at the door of lunch room, and he freaked out. I was glad that someone was coming to help me out.

Now that I choose to focus on school and only school, I have got a scholarship for my grades and for my help in school. I am involved in a lot of programs at school to innovate and change some rules.
