Following my graduation, I have 2 choices to continue in my field. Which one should I choose?
After 2 years of hard work at Ahuntsic College, I finally received my diploma in Social Science, psychology and social intervention. As a future psycho educator, the profile suits me perfectly because I am an empathetic person who likes to help people. This profession aims to intervene with young people or adults in difficulty; whether it is on the street, in a center mandated by the government or in any other place of belonging. The objective of a psycho educator is first to develop meaningful relationships by becoming part of the environment and daily life of individuals who may need help. She detects their specific needs and provides them with direct assistance (listening, moral support, recourse to local resources for food or other items, etc.) or refers them to appropriate assistance programs. The psycho-educator also intervenes for preventive purposes in order to detect situations conducive to suicide, drug addiction, prostitution, school drop-out and delinquency, and to encourage individuals to desire and seek ways to take charge of their lives. Following my graduation, I have 2 choices to continue in my field. Which one should I choose?
Choice 1 : Go to university

At the University, I take my studies very seriously because of the strong competition in this field. Thanks to my excellent grades, I was able to obtain an honour scholarship.
At the end of my university studies, I opened a private clinic specialized in drug addiction. Most of my clients have problems with alcohol, hard drugs and mental health issue. It is only the stars and the wealthiest people in the world who has access to my services. My practice is so well-known that I make a reality show out of it.

I am going to Syria on a humanitarian mission as a volunteer to work in an orphanage with children suffering from war trauma. After a few weeks of work, we were kidnapped by rebels. The bad guys asked for a ransom for our freedom. The Red Cross came to rescue us in a helicopter with all the Syrian children we returned to Canada safely.
